I've been told that i look "different", and that my heritage makes me interesting. But other than my looks what are some things I, as a model, need to work on? (Other than shooting with better photographers---so i've been told). Constructive criticism please:)

look at model photography - preferably the best work in each genre you're interested in - so you know what to look for when you're selecting photographers.

if you're interested in art modeling, for example, then study images like that. feed your eyes a steady diet of world-class images, and it'll be easier and easier for you to recognize great work when you see it in the portfolio of a local photographer. you'll learn what kinds of wardrobe, poses, and facial expressions work, by learning from the best.
