For Halloween.

Yeah yeah, so we are supposed to be too old for Halloween and costumes and stuff, but screw that noise.

What is your costume this year?

Gonna do the plaid flannel shirt, black woolie cap and blood everywhere.

Kurt Cobain.

We are playing at a party, may have to learn a Nirvana tune!

Being a huge Nirvana fan, I find this offensive.
Also I rarely recall Kurt Cobin wearing a beanie and plaid shirt.
Eddie Vedder (from pearl jam) wore plaid.

At least do it right.
You'd do Kurt better in converse, corderoy pants, an obscure tshirt and either a grandpa sweater over it or a shirt from flanel pajamas. No beanie, but big white rimmed sunglasses would be good.

...And play "In Bloom"

Tell us what you want to be. I rarely use just a costume store costume.

Welll.. there was a pin up girl costume that I picked up because it was cute. I got a small- it's too big up top (from the chest up) and too small down below (thighs and ass)

Likely a pirate, if we can find the costume again.  Not *on* Halloween though, the weekend prior.  Unless my super-awesome-amazing hubby wants to figure out a costume for me  smile

I will be sure to trick or treat at your place then. big_smile

I am always offensive on Halloween, it makes up for how excruciatingly nice I am the rest of the time.

You are correct, I googled images of Kurt and he did not fit the stereotype I wanted to plug him in to. Maybe Eddie Vedder will commit suicide before the end of the month and make my life easier. I already have the wooly and plaid flannel shirts are everywhere.

Also, I need a brain to wear all over my back.

Might be Winnie the Pooh. Might be Snow White or Rose Red (from Snow White and Rose Red, not the story w/ the seven dwarves). I haven't decided yet.

Myself, I can be pretty https://assets.modelmayhem.com/images/smilies/scary.pngsometimes.

Once dressed as a Sioux warrior wasn't a good idea, the kids were scared sh*tless.

Because I have had no luck finding the rest of the outfit to go with either my Uncle Sam hat or the viking hat I "borrowed" at a scholarship auction we just played.

Plus, it seems to be sacred ground up here in the Great Northwest so I thought I would offend lots of people.

Plus, my vision of the costume was easy to put together even if it was incorrect.

Still looks easy, brain on the back of my shirt and quarts of fake blood. Just a different shirt and maybe an authentic Kurt Cobain suicide wig so my hair looks more like his.

Two years ago I went as Juan Valdez, complete with a live miniature donkey! We have an amazing Halloween loop here in Wilmington. Most of the bars let me in and drink with the donkey... the loop bus did not let us ride... so I rode the donkey! lol

The bus is often the highlight of the loop. One year this couple was having full on sex in the seat in front of me... the girl was sitting on the guys lap and kept asking the guy if he remembered her name... he didn't... so she would remind him. At one point our eyes locked and I mouthed her name to her... she smiled.

I think this year I'm working so no loop!

I think I may dress up as a big baby huey!

I'm going to be Chell, from Portal. I found an orange jumpsuit that fits really well, and am going to get a white tank top and draw the aperture logo on it. If I have time I'll make a portal gun out of Styrofoam or something. I have no clue what do do for shoes.

If I have money before Halloween I'll be getting these:
http://www.etsy.com/listing/100378170/p … er-pasties
for an alternate version of the costume. Probably convert the tank top to an underbust by taking a scissors to it and sticking the logo on the back. I was a pirate last year with a black underbust and matching pasties, eyepatch, and mini pirate hat. It was awesome!

I had a friend that dressed up as a back alley abortionist and attended one of the biggest Halloween street parties in America.

If he didn't get punched or anything more than a few dirty looks then I doubt Michael will get punched over a Kurt Cobain costume.

Or he could just go all out and burn or throw acid into his own face. Real scaring far more effective.

Just kidding.

But seriously dude just shell out three bucks for some rigid collodion. It works great.
