Well, aside from a few feathers around the top of the outfit, it didn't really make me think ballet, black, or swan, (it was not really black either).

The composition was okay, kind of plain.

The costume, exposure, background, all worked in harmony, which was probably the most well thought out of part of the shoot.

Was there suppose to be wind involved? it looked like brown pieces of leaves flowing, but it wasn't quite clear or not.

Only two pics?

Sorry for the misunderstanding...The fashion collection is called the "black Swan"...It was not supposed to be a shoot around the "black Swan Theme"

Yes, the brown-yellow pieces are leaves blowing around...it is an autumn theme...

More pics coming... wink

Thanks for your feedback!

Okay, the lighting is a bit too expected, the poses are too perfect. Nothing suprises me , yet it's very well done.

Wonderful-the only issue could be the crop-too much space on the right. ? .

Hair on back of models head looks messy with the large chunk hanging down
Models left arm pose is lacking form
Models right arm pose seems odd with elbow
Would much rather see arms posed differently
Composition wise seems like too much negative space

Lighting and location would receive high marks

Wish you well

I find the colors and clarity stunning.  The leaves give an action feel that contrasts the statuesque appearance of the model.

I am more drawn to the first image (with wide view) than the tighter shots with closed eyes.

Look forward to seeing some more images from this shoot.

I think a darker palette for the makeup would have been alot better.

Amazing styling, cool photos, nice backdrop, maybe a bit more balletic posing also would have been good.

I love the theme and idea, I think for "black swan" its not dramatic enough. Make up should be much more intense and captivating, and the model should be more fierce.

Hi guys,

Many thanks for all the feedback...It is much appreciated wink Definitely wanna take it in to account for my next shoots...

Here is the next image:

This one is without the leaves as I was concerned that it would get a bit boring if all the images contain the flying leaves...Please let me know your thoughts...

P.S. Please note that is not a black swan ballet shoot...I know - my bad - the title said so...smile The collection is called black swan but the theme is more autumn/ mood oriented...

OMG..i was going to say the same thing.

since it  looks to perfect, including the lighting it takes something away from what it and makes it looks dated...its good though

Maybe it's just my computer but the dress is completely black on the full body shots. If this is a shoot to show off the dress I think there needs to be more detail in the product.

The shot its self is stunning- As a fashion photo I think it's a great pose, with great lighting.

Excellent choice of model for this concept and for me, detail on the dress.  I wouldn't mind seeing a large tonal range on the leaves (but not too much to take away from the focus)

Thank you all!

I have one last image I want to share for critics of the shoot...

The mood is quite different as we needed to change location in the end of the shoot...

Please let me know what you think...Thanks!
