I've been getting comments on a lot of my pictures except my avatar. I just wanted to know out of my portfolio, what would be the best avatar?

Very nice, although I am not a fan of hand stuck to the head images.  You also might want to aim your left elbow out a little to keep it consistent with the other arm and keep it from bulging too much smile

This would work well

When selecting a portrait photo prefer the whites of the eyes to not show over processing, which is why this was selected over any other offering from your portfolio
