Can't believe it wasn't taken!

Took pictures of my nephews for my mom's birthday, and when my brother took the mat to get framed, half a dozen people inquired about my services.

Looks like I found a market. Great SEO name - just gotta learn more about kids and families.

First time using wordpress (falling in love, gonna change it all over soon) and slowly figuring it out. Seems slow on my computer, but it's been a fuckhead lately with cache issues, so I am not sure.

About has a (3:00am) blurb in it, and kids portfolio has a couple tossed in there, that's all I could get to so far... trying to figure out if this is what I want yet.

I like it so far Jay. And that kid is sooooooooooo cute!

Edit: Its not real slow here, seems the flash has to take a second or so to switch up going from link to link.

JS not flash, but i get what you mean... I just wish it were quicker... I think it may be the loading of the main image (uploaded full rez, instead of a 2000px version... so I may try that out, see if it improves.)

ahhhh found the issue... its on a godaddy server farm. Probably got set up on an overloaded server.

I have dedicated servers if you want to throw it on one of them Jay.

the wordpress application is run through godaddy. it's getting quicker as I make minor tweaks.

Gonna test out a few other themes too... it's a work in progress.

Dude, I totally thought of you last night--- I did a beauty shoot in the evening in my studio, with 2 construction work lights that didn't cost me a thing (brought to me by a model previously). Turned out pretty damn good !

Also: reallyyy slow loading here. You're gonna have to fix, or people are gonna scroll away real quick ! Can you move back to just a regular wordpress format instead of a system where each page has to "load" when clicked? I've had the portfolio page running in the background for about 2 minutes, it still hasn't loaded yet.

Edit: waited another 2... still nothing, and running off so had to close the window!

Just use your name. Build inbound links organically.

Besides, marketing your business should rely much more on your offline work than your google ranking.

I have my own name, www.JayLeavitt.com ... that will be rebuilt as a "portal" website. Instead of as it is, it will have portals to different markets (current site will be under the "model" portal.) having this website linked within this natural website will increase its market.

When people search for "Las Vegas Family Portraits" ... seo should have me high up there soon. I market in person a bit, but friends and family only goes so far. Those friends and family, when mentioning me on FB/etc, also increases my seo for externals.
