Is that loser crying? I dunno, the amount of money and attention he's getting, what the heck is he crying about? Also, when did he start dressing so hip? Glenn Beck's now got a leg up on Anderson Cooper. Man, I'd love to speak my mind and make mad bank like Glenn Beck. I respect him for his game, not his opinions.

This is why I find the political theatre so confusing. I don't know if these pundits are putting on a show or if they really believe in what they say. If Beck is genuine, then he's definitely "suiting up" from the Banana Republic to appeal to a younger audience. If that's the case, well, the GOP must really be in a world of hurt...

last I checked, the OP, nor any liberal member of SB seems to have a problem with the likes of Bill Mahr, who's just as far left as Beck is right.
When I see a thread chastizing Bill Mahr or Michael Moore from a liberal on here for THEIR stupidity...then we may see an honest and balanced approach...until then...this is just another attempt to paint the GOP with one broad brush based on a commentator's opinion.

I tried listening to Bill Maher. I thought he was an arrogant jerk.
I've never bothered with Michael Moore, any more than I would Dinesh D'Souza.
When I do click on them, I dismiss Bill O'Reilly and Rachel Maddow with equal haste.
On the other hand, I think Jon Stewart is often funny.
I've been called liberal in here. Shrug. There you have it.
But when one says, "Why are you going after the wacko on my side? Why don't you go after some wacko on your side?" the overcompensation generally indicates unease about one's own wacko.
ETA: The worst choice in the history of the planet was to switch production to "New Coke." I mean, everyone knows that.

I've never even seen Bill Maher's show.....not even once so hush your face!! The thread is about Beck, if you want to make it about your closed minded self....be my guest.

Give Rachael a chance...she's smart as hell and she thoroughly researches.

me closed minded...funny since it was YOU who posted the thread. My response was on point. When you can show some balanced approach to subjects such as this rather than searching out the most outlandish examples to justify your hatred of conservatives...it'll be something to watch...otherwise it's just another "I hate conservatives thread".

Bill Maher never said that electing George Bush was the biggest mistake in Earth's history. Don't compare Beck to Maher. Beck is an idiot, Maher is an often funny show host/comedian. Some of his views are out there, like his belief that pharmaceutical industrial complex is against legalizing pot because they don't want competition in drugging people, but for the most part he is a mainstream liberal.

I saw one clip that looked interesting. I then tuned in and got crushed with the weighting on the left.
I have no doubt she's smart and researches. If you're in like-minded mode with her, she'd be highly entertaining. I like to read my op-ed pieces, and that way I'm done with them in three or four minutes. I can't immerse in a half hour (or more) of opinion blasting.
After watching somebody like O'Reilly, I'm glad there's a Maddow. But I'll tune in to other things entirely.

Looking at the fine quality of her work, I'd say she already has.
But unless Beck built his own studio - I don't see where your comment has anything to do with the OP.
