Commercial/talent agencies are different than fashion model agencies, but I can only assume at 25 you're not approaching a fashion model agency...
If they didn't give you any direction for the call and you don't see any posted on their site, take a look at some of the models on their site. Dress neatly and if you have any viable commercial shots or a nice smiling headshot, bring that; on the back write down your name, contact info, and any work you may have done that's commercial-related.

Good luck. If they like you, don't be surprised if they tell you to come back once you have a commercial portfolio. This will probably cost you some money (you will pay photographers - good ones) and you'll need to give the agency exactly what clients are looking for. They may have photographers they recommend, and certainly take any suggestions they have for you seriously.
Commercial agencies rarely (I don't know of any instances, but never say never) pick up models from casting calls without any photos or experience because talent is needed in commercial work. You have to be able to portray characters, and you need to find out what the market is in order to know what "characters" to portray.
If they ask you to bring your book to the call (all commercial models should be approaching agencies with a commercial book), be careful what you choose to show the agency. For example, I wouldn't show them this one because it has zero commercial appeal and may actually hurt you:
Of all your photos, I'd show them your avatar - and this headshot, although it would be better if you were smiling with your teeth showing....
I met with the owner of the agency and he took a look at my portfolio and then excused himself (they told us the placement director's office was across the hall) and took it with him. I then read for a commercial and was told they would be making callback decisions at an agency meeting tomorrow morning and I should be checking my messages.

Not to be a spoil sport but leave your money and credit cards at home. Out here in the LA area places like this abound. Everyone gets a call back at the ones just looking to sell you a portfolio, head shots and or acting lessons. This is the main way to tell them from the real ones. they treat you better then hard sell you on expensive packages. Hopefully yours is not one of those but just be aware. Maybe a visit to the better business bureau site to look them up too? Best of luck.

Thank you for your advice. I did my research before going and found out that this is one of the recommended agencies for NC. I will keep my eyes open through the whole process though.
They said no...for now. Apparently 90% of the business here in NC goes to acting for commercials and the like. They said take some classes and come back in two months. I have potential I just need to train more.
Two months is no big deal, come back as a natural actor! at least they didn't tell you something you couldn't change like your height. You'll rock it in two months.

I agree! Those last two photos especially with the glasses (in blue tank top and pigtails), have character in them. Do you have any smiling photos showing your teeth? Commercial agencies really like that. And impeccable grooming.

Try to pick up your snarkiness a little more, Mark. You're slipping.

Haha, thanks. To Mark: all I can do is my best, I'm not trying to be anything other than myself. I do understand acting is an art which requires a lot of training and hopefully I will be able to improve. Who knows
