After several years of having Photoshop on my computer and playing with it every now and then for odd tasks, making logos, etc... I have decided I would like to try my hand at retouching photos.

Would any photographers be willing to let me practice on their photos?

Also, if any retouchers have any tips or links to websites that might be helpful, that would also be greatly appreciated!!

My thoughts are... I can practice a ton, and then use the best ones (assuming I do well in at least a few situations *fingers crossed* haha) to start a portfolio.

Worst case scenario: I do a crap job and the edited photo never gets seen
Best case scenario: You get a free retouched photo that might be halfway decent.

**Anything I complete and think looks alright will be sent back to the photographer that it came from. At that time I will ask for permission to use it in my future port,and  you reserve the right to tell me no without any harsh feelings
