I guess I should post back stories on a couple images.

The "purple skin, yellow light" is all natural sunrise ambient light. Cool light of the blue morning sky (purple skin effect) and the yellow light is the actual sunrise light from the opening on other side reflecting off the sulfur elements of the inside of the rock. Actual exposure and no color enhancing whatever, scouts honor.

"Gimmicks" photo is strictly for avatar reasons, the original got the ole Red Screen, haha... so as at first look, yes I agree.

"Airplanes" is an actual capture at LAX runway approach, not PSed in case there was doubt.
