that sounds awesome I've been meaning to go down there for a while, but since I can't drive (need to bus or train), or I had a booking but it pulled out, so I was never able to make it down! A couch and a boston terrier is fine (I tend to toss, turn, and kick a lot- so unless you're looking for bruises!). As the event gets close/finally gets finalized, we'll figure it out!

BTW there is really nice place in the village called The Red Lion.. Bleeker n Thompson. They have live bands during the week, nice atmosphere, table n food, plenty of boooze to make everyone happy.... 

I especially like the place becaue a friend's group plays there every so often, Wed nights, and they are a really hot band!

The "Dive" is on 96th street isn't it?

That strip in the village has a bunch of bars that are cool right next to each other and maybe there will be a cool band playing too

Arthur's Tavern is pretty cool for blues
