If you're not going to offer payment in the form of money, you should barter something of equal value. Do you feel the exposure you could give a retoucher is of equal value? Would that publicity lead to paid work?

So as a retoucher and a photographer... I have a question. Why are these 4 images something you couldn't handle? Maybe you should post them or place them in the Challenges and Samples area and let everyone that wants to take a crack at them.

Minor blemishes and light enhancements are things you've been doing already based on your portfolio... so I find this a strange request

Instead of including "not a paid job" in the subject you're better off just posting the images to the Serious Retouch section and offer them up and allow retouchers to add them to their portfolio.

It's the same exact thing but the perception is very different.

When you raise the question of compensation you're already under scrutiny, as you've already seen.

-These minor blemishes are beyond my repair yet simple, I just really would like these photos to come out as natural as possible, and I have tried to get at these images and I have been unable to produce the proper image.

- I definitely phrased that wrong, I have just found myself in a frustrated position just wanting to get these photos out asap... I should've thought my post thru what I was writing... It would include A LOT of exposure as one of the model is a very well-known upcoming model in the industry right now.

- Would definitely need to re-phrase my thought... I apologize for it as I have just run into a frustrating situation and just wanting to get the photographs out with any sort of help. This would most definitely lead to great exposure, and definitely future paid work.
