-Models do you place your self in a scene or mood to emote during a photo shoot?  (Emote: to give expression to emotion especially usefull during photoshoots )

The ring light is from what I can see an LED, it doesn't look like the Profoto RL.

I love this film I had it saved out since it came out.  Notice the bird cage in multiple locations. There is a significance there.

I have not invented a character for a photoshoot yet but I have thought about it a lot. The problem usually is that no one would actually let me do it. Usually you are getting feed back and directions and just too much going on around you and that's distracting.

I like that scene at around the 50 sec mark where she is riding into the courtyard and the her bodysuit , the bike helmet , bike and the walls of the buildings are all in the same tan tone

my guess is that the only think unrealistic about the photoshoot is the relative age and handsomness of the photographer ...lol

nope. never that complex a studio, though in NYC, our studio had a live-in loft -- it was just big enough to hold a dresser and bed. It was over our office + darkroom.
Very cramped. All the main space was a giant open room.

brings back fond memories -- when you awake and 2 am, and remember something else you could have done, you know you're a photographer.

Its a great idea. I love the creation of characters and this silent movie type of mystery. When I do a shoot I love to create a character based on my outfit. I think you have to.
