The info below is about the visit of Mr. Peter NygÃ¥rd founder and Chairman of NygÃ¥rd International to Dallas and the need of volunteer photographers.  the visit is from WED NOV15 thru SAT NOV18 and as scheduled Mr. Peter NygÃ¥rd will be visiting Dillard's Stores, attend fashion related events and provide Interviews in the Dallas Area… we would very much appreciate it if you could help us in informing photography students and/or friends who are interested in photographing (Fashion Style and/or Photojournalistic) the Fashion Shows and related Events which will help the students to gain valuable experience as well as the possibility to use a selected number of images for their portfolio Our videographers are recording the events and we need the extra photographers in order to add more flash drama at the events and to the video production the tentative program for WED NOV15 is as follows:

as in previous Fashion Shows/Events the following will apply to the students  they are allowed to select some of their photographs to keep (HOWEVER: NO PUBLICATION RIGHTS-SEE WAIVER FORM)  they will provide their own equipment and own film/Memory Cards - NOTE: CF cards will - after download - be returned to the photographer  they will follow instructions from our Staff Photographers & NygÃ¥rd Officers  they will make sure that photographs are made with the help of strobes(flashes) they will act professional and NOT obstruct the sight of photographers (motion & still), models and guests  they will provide their presence FREE of charge  they have to sign the attached Waiver Form and return it when picking up the Media Pass and be at the NygÃ¥rd Events 45 minutes BEFORE scheduled start in order to receive important instructions and the Media Pass Professional Attire: Black shirt/ black pants / black shoes

do the lucky photographers get to buy lunch and/or dinner for anyone?

I've done a few local fashion shows and one that was a benifit and me and the other photographers own all the images.

Even if I live near by I would be like 'hello i took the pictures, why can't i keep the ones i want to keep?' duh! Oh and taking my CF card? How would I trust the company to take a ton of CF cards, and not lost mine? Then I'll be screwed!
