Can anyone help me remove shadow from face and neck?

Any tips on how to do it in cs5 would also be appreciated

Dodge and Burn should work just fine. Do you know how to use it?

Thats what i am playing with now.....doesnt seem to be working very well

It should work. You can also try to heal the harsh shadow transition as a quick fix.
