We are pleased to announce a new series of monthly figurative/fine art nude photography portfolio development workshops at our new venue - "The Cattail Studio" located on the scenic Chesapeake Bay!

Each month you will have the opportunity to take your portfolio to the next level during an intensive 4 hour photo shoot featuring 3 outstanding fine art models at the picturesque Cattail Studio, located on the Chesapeake Bay.

The workshop is designed for photographers who want to expand the breath and diversity of their portfolios in an afternoon with high quality images of a) three art nude models,  b) a variety of lighting areas and possibilities (strobe, continuous and natural) and c) sets (studio, reading room, and boudoir).  A great opportunity to expand the diversity and breath of your portfolio!

Each workshop also features an outstanding fine art nude/figurative photographer who will conduct the workshop, provide the participating photographers with feedback and guidance get great images!

Our Feature Photographer for December will be Joe Rooney, a great photographer and instructor.  Joe's images have been published in B&W and COLOR magazine, and you can see his work at JRune Nudes: http://www.modelmayhem.com/745302.   Joe will meet with the group during the 1st hour, prior to the start of the shoot, to discuss his approach to fine art nude photography, your portfolio, and specific interests and objectives in participating in the workshop.

The three models will rotate through the three setups: Portrait Studio (strobe lights), Reading Room (natural light), and the Boudoir (continuous/hot lights). There will be only two photographers at each setup (6 photographers in total) so you will have the opportunity to capture lots of images, and have lots of interaction with each model. 

If you find you want to do a little more work with any of the models, each model will also be available after the workshop for 30 minute 1 on 1 shoots.

Workshop Fee: $225 per 3hr session (includes model release and use of Pocket Wizard).

One-on-ones fees: $40 per half hour- paid to models.

This will  be a monthly event at the Cattail Studio!
