LMBO @BP yea those are the ones that have hundreds of views! Lol! When I look at other profiles whether its models or fellow photographers I will see hundreds of views on certain images and I was just commenting on how to achieve views like that. I guess my thinking is if someone liked your work they would be apt to want to work with you.
I wouldn't equate views with someone liking your work (or not liking it). When I decide if I want to work with a model, my first impression comes from the overall portfolio, so views has nothing to do with it. Then I might look at some pictures, which may in fact give me information to tell me that I DON'T want to work with her. I will assume the models act somewhat the same way when choosing togs.
When using your port to attract models, I recommend variety and polish. Make the models all look good. Post fashion type shots or really good beach shots. Sell them on the fantasy of a Vogue-like cover shot or Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition quality. That is what I think the majority of amateur models on here want.
Throw in some edgier stuff that may attract alt models, but mostly appeal to the masses.
Just my opinion, but I am not here to try to attract the most models and the only thing that works for me is cash.
Just so you know, I do not consider my portfolio to follow this advice.
Also, put your best stuff at the top and don't use pages or albums.
