and merry xmas to you too Lorayne xx
I like your portfolio. i'd probably list some of it, if listing photos didnt take so long.
as far as lighting... you know what you're doing. i dont see any funky lighting on any of the models.
it seems your downfall is your postwork. Some of the skin of the models looks fake.. and then in the same picture you have unedited skin. i would also say that when you have a pale model wearing white.. having a white background that is blown out makes the model blend with the background.. examples:
this photo would be good... if the model, car, and grass werent all the same color and texture..
here's a group of photos i would remove to strength your portfolio:
(all links are 18+)
http://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/12 … eb94_m.jpg ^ the red leather is obnoxious.. and the pose isn't amazing.
^all i see is the flat foot. it also kind of looks like a prom/homecoming photo gone bad. i get the background is pretty.. but a girl standing on rocks looking uncomfortable isn't helping the landscape.
^holy shit.. there is too much to look at.. my eyes are drawn to the girl.. but also the billboard and the telephone poles and wires... way too much going on.
i like these:
there are others.. but it'd take too long to post.

i've never met a man with a 0 inch chest.. you must be dead.
^ i see this look/emote (whatever you wanna call it) in your portfolio a lot.. it looks like "i'm a baby deer"... or maybe "i'm cute and cuddly.. but insecure.. but i'm trying to be seductive"... i have no idea... either way.. it makes me laugh a little. Be a f.cking man and show some manly emotion.. like anger.. or "i'm a f.cking badass".
^why are you wearing shorts? everything else is dressed up.. except the shorts.. and unless you are modeling the giant chair you're sitting in.. this photo does nothing to your portfolio strength.
Remember this.. quality over quantity. meaning if you only have two amazing photos.. only post those two.. dont post a bunch of crap to fill up spaces.
my advice, work with photographers who dont ask for that deer in the headlights look, and find some that will make you look like a rugged man. you have a beard thing... whic is manly.. yet your photos are the opposite.

http://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/11 … bc78_m.jpg ^ she is squinting... and the railroad thing has been done soo many times.. im not sure why people love railroad ties sooo much. anyway.. to avoid the squint.. try counting to three and have the model open her eyes on 3.
it seems you are comfortable with art nudes.. and are trying to do some more creative things? if not.. you should be.
also have models do more poses than just standing and hugging themselves or stretching upwards.. i get that art nudes showcase the body.. but it gets boring.

love most of your stuff.. and then i see shit like this:
why are your arms different colors than your legs? and the trash dumpsters in the background just make it so classy. (sarcasm)
Hello orange. i believe this is called shit editing... or where they layer three different shots.. mainly used for cars to bring out colors.. unfortunately for you.. it brought out orange.. you look kinda like a pretty oompa loompa.
the good:
^ this should be your avatar. it's beautiful. though the other similiar photos are not as good as this.. and i would possibly lose them.
^hello prom photo.. i decided not to wear white to my prom, nor did i get my photo taken by the photog they had at the dance.. but if that's your thing...
everything else in your portfolio is good. though cut back on some of the runway show photos.. there is one where your forehead is shiny... i'd probably dump that since you have wayy better

you have a lot of hands near your face poses.
^ this is too blown out, you blend with the background.
same with this
i liked this until i saw the black eye..
love this:
you are very pretty, but i would like to see photos where you arent posed to the side. it seems most of your shots are you with your head angled.
and im not sure what to think about the snow and lace thing ones.. they dont make much sense to me and you cant see yourself... which is what you are trying to sell.. your look.

i'm jealous of all your locations you've shot at. though i think you have an obsession with models sitting in chairs. look through your photos and count how many are sitting in some kind of chair.
hmm i like a lot of your photos.. i will list a few. lighting is good and considering you do art nudes i cant really say you should do headshots.. cause that defeats the entire shit behind the idea.. (sorry im a little drunk)... however.. if you find a cool location.. or want to let me know where some of these are.. message me

first off i love your hair. you should definitely be doing fashion or editorial. you have amazing features.
love this:
i would suggest working with photographers who can shoot full length to improve your portfolio.. and not someone who will put you in some weird mermaid thing on a white block... yah.. not getting it.

how come i have never seen your portfolio before? you have a lot of shit i like. good lighting, composition and all that other shit photographers know about.
i like this image:
except... the weird black poop smudge on her butt/thigh.
also.. when you light your subjects for full length.. it seems like you are using a light directed mainly at their face/torso.. throwing the legs into shadows.. try correcting it by either bouncing light or using another light source.. i only say that because it makes the legs look like they belong to a corpse when compared to the rest of the body.
if it seems like i'm being overly picky.. it's cause i am. there isn't anything major to change.. so i'm picking on all the little details.

holy shit.. you've come a long way! i remember when you were first starting and now look.. you're a full blown freelancer!
btw.. LOVE the retro makeup on you.. the lashes and thick top liner.. it's enough to make me a lesbian for a few seconds.
like this:
Yummy.
i think what your portfolio could use.. some natural photos. you have a lot of "i'm a hardass".. i think seeing the softer side would compliment your port and give you another genre of art. so try something with natural makeup.. with softness.

oh i know you.. i've stalked your portfolio. i love everything. i remember you posted about some photos in the canyon or riverbed... i loved them all. it looks like you kept all 4. and i LOVE your new aspen 4.
your images just have so much depth.. they are beautiful. i'm flattered you posted in my thread thing.. makes me all warm inside.. and it also makes me want to shoot out in the freezing cold where my tits will shrivel into concave holes.
