We don't know the sex but we've been going with "she" until we find out differently.

Looked up 80's movies:

Casiodorus Rex or Elspeth from Dragonslayer
I also like Kitty's suggestion of Kira from The Dark Crystal
Kiri from The Beastmaster
Lili or Blix from Legend
Talon from The Sword and the Sorcerer
Vella from Krull
Hera or Cassiopeia from Clash of the Titans
Isabeau d'Anjou from Ladyhawke
Aura or Kala from Flash Gordon

Bunniest names from the fantasy movies that feel 80s to me:

Fizzgig (Dark Crystal)

Hoggle (Labrynth, unsure on release date, actually)

Schmendrick (Last Unicorn)

Edit: oh right she's a girl. Well, I still think bunnies need silly names because they're silly creatures.
Fizzgig is multigendered.

Bunnicula

hehe, its my favorite book sorry I had to!  She's beautiful!

Did you get a litterbox and all that good stuff for her?  You have any questions please ask, I have 4 buns right now Hope, Frankie, Isabella and Sophia.  Although we just found out (I think its Sophia) is a boy.  WHOOPS!  He didn't have those last time I looked between his legs and put him in with his sister!  He's having a hard time being in his own cage!!  So Sophia doesn't have a name just yet.  My kids can't agree on one.

Since you're not sure of the gender: Fizzgig from Dark Crystal.

Omg!  That was my favorite book too!

We got a cage so the pups can't bother her when she's in it.  She's been really patient with them...how do your pups and bunnies get along?  I'm assuming the novelty wears off and they get bored?  I'm not sure if the cage its better or worse for her.  They can't sniff her so they cry and/or bark.

Should bunnies be fixed?  He/she is the only one we have right now but I wasn't she if it affects behavior.

Thanks!

My big dogs would eat the bunnies given the chance.  So we don't let them interact.  Mallory does check them out but I do not trust her and the buns get stressed out when she is sitting there constantly barking at them.  So if we get her calmed out we let her check the buns out on the floor, she plays really rough and they have delicate backs so we are really really careful!!  Some bunnies LOVE their cages and consider that their "safe" haven.  That is how my Frankie boy is.  His cage is on top of the dresser, and when I hold him and snuggle him he jumps right back in.  He would rather be either on the floor or in his cage.  Although he definitely is more attentive to me when he's in the cage.

My buns aren't fixed.  Just because when I had Honey (do you remember the one I hand raised?) she died shortly after she was fixed.  She was never the same after she got fixed.  Bunnies have a really delicate system, one little "off" and they go downhill.  I've found my boy bunnies more loving and they come to the front of the cage for snuggles.  My girls are a little more standoffish, kind of shy and don't like snuggles like the boys.  They like to be petted and thats it.  Except for Honey....she loved me and loved snuggles.  She rubbed on my face and would kiss me.
Start early talking to bunny, letting it get used to you.  Frankie will thump and jump all over his cage when he hears my voice or when I walk in the room.  Mine all LOVE their noses/between their eye forehead scratched.  The one boy (sophia lol) takes his mouth and rubs it on my hand and fingers.  I put my hand in a fist and flip it over with my nails up and let him rub his chin on my nails.  He is so funny!  They have attitudes (haha) and big personalities for their size!

Just a warning- NO treats or food with seeds and no lettuces until bunny is over a year.  They can get diarrhea, I lost a bunny in a day due to diarrhea.  It killed me!
