Portfolio is not really cohesive, and I can't really figure out what you're going for. I'm sorry to say, you don't have the X-factor.
Work on it and come back next year.
Can't understand why people set them themselves up to be shot down by a mediocre (at best) photographer. Maybe if the person doing the critiquing was actually GOOD, it might have some value.
Note: I say all this knowing that I'm mediocre (at best) myself.

Everybody is entitled to an opinion, if you don't like it then keep your eyes shut.

And you're right, you're mediocre, so you might wanna scrap 'Very Experienced'.

It seems you have a hearing problem, and your starting to grate on me, I did not ask for your critique nor did I want or need it, so it is wildly irrelevant. Granted it's your thread, but your bordering on idiocy, and it almost seems like your trolling me. As you and anybody seeing this thread will plainly see, my intention was not to cause any kind of conflict, I happen to see a post you'd written and basically queried the critique. But you seem to be taking this to a personal note, which again is extraneous.
My work is atrocious, hmmm, I think you have to many people gassing you, dream on fella.

Unsolicited critiques are against the rules. The OP did not ask for your opinion. If you don't want a critique from him, then post somewhere else.

Yeah I'm kinda getting the feeling that the OP has no clue as a to what makes a good image. My work is apparently atrocious too. I'm not claiming to be awesome but I know I'm not atrocious AND everything in my port is in fact properly exposed. Unlike someone else I know

Well it does say 'Simon Cowell Scale' so you know its gonna be a tad ugly when it comes to criticism. That said, there are good ratings, it just so happens that you weren't in one of em. When I enter someone else's critique rating and get a bad rating (even though I think in my opinion didn't deserve it), I deal with it, since it's someone else's opinion. You're pooped that you got a bad rating, deal with it.

not at all my friend. I've been drug through the mud by everyone here. I've learned, I've improved and I know the difference between a good and a bad image. Some of the ports that you're giving "atrocious" ratings, including mine may not be top notch but are no where near the level of atrocious. That's all I'm saying.
I can take all the negative feedback you want to dish out but I think the Simon Cowell Scale is a little skewed.

It's all good, move on.
First of all you shouldn't take all this too seriously as neither of us all do. And yes the Simon Cowell Scale is harsh (that's why it's SIMON COWELL) and everything was listed there so you knew what you were subjected to. And you got a fairly 'mild' one. If you're so pooped about the bad rating it means you're insecure about your work. You willingly entered yourself, if you don't like to hear (in your case) bad critique, then don't enter critique forum.

I was going to say that but didn't want to get dinged
