Sorry, I've got nothing for you, but agree with you. Wicket look and feel. I actually haven't seen any good images lately - maybe I have but didn't notice them... which probably wouldn't make them good shots.
I wasn't quite sure what 'steampunk' was... when this llama had planned to do a bodypainting shoot with me, and suggested a steampunk theme.

I haven't done a lot of shooting in the steampunk genre, but I AM involved in creating things and doing events. We're working on a steampunk outfit for my giant rocking horse, with leather, hammered copper, and copper chainmail. The creativity level within the movement is off the charts.
i don't really care for the genre and kinda think it's overdone but i do admit it has some pretty neat styling concepts. my favorite subgenre i guess would be the native american/steampunk type stuff, very original and hard to pull off.

I love steampunk! This is a shot from my steampunk shoot with ego photography - I think one of the tricks to a great steampunk feel is an awesome location

I see you use facebook for your pictures. You have also stated that those are coypyrighted. However if you read the facebook agreement you were served, you'll be surprised with your rights to the uploaded material. Just a tip.
Aside from Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, and then arguably Suckerpunch and Captain America, the first Avenger, why aren't there more mainstream steampunk style movies made?
Seems like some great original screenplays could be drafted and it would be a wardrobe stylist DREAM job.
I suppose The Time Machine (remake) could qualify. The first act, anyway.
I'm shooting a big steampunk shoot this Sunday I'm excited about. Two models, a killer costume designer, MUA, lots of post work to be done, etc. I'm stoked! I'll post the photos here as soon as they are done.
