It's the mossssssst wonderful time of the yeaaaaaar!
Unless you're stressing about how you're going to pay the bills and make sure your kids have something under the tree in the same month.

We're here to help. MM is a tight knit community and each year I have set up a thread like this to make sure the kids of struggling MM'ers have a jolly holiday season.

Here's how it works:
You can post offering to be a Super Santa here and get assigned a person who could use a little holiday magic.

People who could use a Super Santa should post here too!
If you'd like, you can message me privately and I will keep your person details secret.

Please provide the gender and age of your child/ children or a specific item that is on their wishlist. Any information that would help them get something to make their day!

It's that simple. Good people doing Good things for other Good people big_smile

Let's make Christmas awesome for a few of Mayhem's kids this year.

I have run this thread on my own for several years, but this year I will have the awesome help of well respected MM member and Gatekeeper, George Lue. He's an exciting addition and will help make this a smooth and easy process for everyone!

Let's get this party started!

You didn't name a limit, because I know a child who needs a PS3.  Let's call him "Damon."

does this have to have to be just for kids?  what about for people who are just having trouble in general and could use a little holiday help?

In previous years it's been to give kids a break from grown up problems. I'm not sure I am willing to open it up to adults, because it changes the system I have in place.

SO many adults are having trouble in general, myself included, but as an adult, I'll be okay without Christmas and so will they. Kids are just a totally different ballgame.

If you have a more specific idea, I'll hear it out, I would prefer you PM me though so this thread stays on track.

I do not give "limits".

Some people can afford to spend $30, some can afford to spend $300. It's totally user dependent.
People with larger spending abilities will be paired with larger families to try and minimize one family having several donors. If no larger families step forward, or if there are more Children needing Santa's than available donors, I can break up larger amounts to make sure everyone is cared for.

If you have an idea in your head of what you want to spend, you can PM it to me and when I have a kid who matches your needs, You will be paired up. smile

Becks is supposed to pair me up with someone by the 16th, so it's taken care of.  I'm giving and choosing not to receive.

This isn't the MM exchange thread. This is entirely different and independent from Beck's thread. Hers is more of a Secret Santa for forum folks.

We aren't exchanging with each other here, this is to help the children of struggling MM members make sure there are Christmas ( or any other holiday you celebrate) presents in the hands of MM's kids who might otherwise be without smile

Yes, privately.
Still I have FAR more donors coming forward than recipients.

Please do not feel bad about contacting Nemi or George. It is that time of the year where we all can help each other.

I made a lot of pairs today, and some things are already shipped and on their way!

Those people who are thinking about this or have already messaged me to say " I'm in" but haven't gotten back to me with details... I MUST get info as fast as humanly possible so I can assign you to someone as a Santa.

Obviously I cannot assign someone who has $20 to a family of 4 nor can I assign someone with a 100+ to give, to one person who is not in the most dire scenario. It just would not be fair.

So as much as "I'm in" is awesome, and I'm glad to have you on board, please please give me as much info as you can, and try to reply to my messages as quick as you can.
When you don't answer, this is me, waiting:

Like my favorite elf said, we have only 9 days to make magic happen. It's crunch time!

Thanks to everyone who is at any step of this process!

I have paired an AMAZING number of members together this year!!

However I could use a few more donors. I have one family that just stepped forward ( I know it's late in the game) they have 3 children, all still at Santa believing age.

Normally I like to keep one donor to a family, but it's late in the game, if you guys can pull together and each take a child, I will do that too. It's complicated to organize on my end, but will be worth it on the kid's end!

I could also use a few "fall back" donors, just in case one of my "Santa's" has a reindeer who gets them lost! (Damn reindeer, it's 2012, get a GPS!)

Anyone who can, please come forward ASAP, time is short.
Thanks.
Much lovvvvvvvvve

OKAY SUPER SANTA'S! The time for long messages back and forth has passed. If you need me. CALL.

Please don't quote my number I'm going to remove it after this is finished.

If I don't pick up, leave a message and I WILL get back to you and work it out.

I have a daughter Phoebe who turns 3 this coming march, I have been ill with the flu the last couple of weeks so she has had to miss out on a lot of the Christmas parties I had originally arranged, instead she has been helping looking after me the best she can as it is just the two of us!

She is a lovely little girl and she wants to do modelling like mummy!

Fingers crossed! Merry christmas to everyone and good luck to all

Even if my daughter is not picked I would still love to contribute to the cause

I send you a PM explaining further, but this thread is not a contest. The member of MM who can, open their hearts and wallets to become a "Super Santa" for the children of MM member who have less or are falling on hard times.

This bridges the gap for families that would be choosing between getting little tom his favorite toy truck, or paying the phone bill. I have even received more dire messages this year, people who just need shoes, clothes and or a winter jacket for their kids because they cannot afford it.

I hope this and my message help clear things up for you.

I can still use a few donors big or small. If you think you can't help because you can only spend $15, you're WRONG! Every donation helps, every Super Santa makes a difference.

I have had members message me and even CALL me, with tears welling up, SO thankful for what you guys made happen...so help me get through the final push, and send me a message with how much you can put forward, and I'll connect you with a donor ASAP.

Sending out SO much
