I would appreciate your opinion, another llama rewrote part of my profile statement in a different discussion several months ago but possibly it could still benefit from change?

Haha, I think that was me, I remember your profile. I read through it again and I don't see anything else I'd change, but that's probably because any changes I would have already suggested are made or don't bother me anymore. smile

I think I will change it soon to something more clean and personal maybe, but some advice on it would definitely come handy.
Thanks in advance!

I used to have a great bio, then some weirdo copy-pasted it into her profile, so I changed it... has never quite felt "right" since...

Just rewritten my bio, could you give me any advice on how to improve it? If you get a chance, please!

A good opener would help your bio, I think. Maybe something like...

"You bring the camera, I'll bring the ZING! I'm Elizabeth, an insatiably curious and eclectic model who freelances in addition to agency representation."

This might add some spice:

"I shoot fast, study hard and come prepared to make your vision a reality. Travelling, meeting new people and contributing to a creative team are what keep me enthusiastic about modeling and life. Send me a message and let's get started!"

It's a little word-heavy. Maybe try something less detailed and more specific to who you are and what you can provide to a client.

"I'm an experienced and creative model with rates as reasonable and flexible as my body. I have worked across Australia and Japan, and have been published in Australia, the US and in Europe. I won't work for "future joint sale profits" but I'm willing to discuss fees that are within your budget."

That kind of sums up the first half of your bio into the most informative part. A reader really just wants to get down to the nitty gritty of your portfolio.

This might be more effective:

"I'm a model and actor loyal to my clients and dedicated to creating artistic results. Creativity for me is my business, my career, my life and I take it very seriously. Message me so we can get started!"

An opener like this might be interesting:

"Climbing a mountain, jumping out of a plane, riding a roller coaster--nothing can compare to the way modeling makes me feel."

I like how your bio flows. It's like a dance in itself. Don't change a thing.

Your bio reads much like a quiet questionnaire. Maybe replacing it with something like this would give it a boost:

I'm English but have a knack for Japanese street fashions. I seek collaborators who aren't afraid to experiment with unusual ideas. You don’t have to be experienced, rich or super tall, just creative and fun. If you like my portfolio or have a suggestion, I want to hear about it!"

Maybe an adjustment like...

"I love working with photographers, stylists and makeup artists who can take my portfolio to the next level."

Sounds a little more enthusiastic, eh?

Your bio has a good skeleton. Using bits and pieces maybe it could sound like...

See my beautiful toes? I'm a rubenesque and foot model who will go the extra mile for you. Willing to shoot at my home or on location. Escort preferred but negotiable. Implied nudity is my limit, non-negotiable. Themes certain to pique my interest include but are not limited to pin-up/rockabilly, vintage, and fine art.

Something that seems to go with the flow you already have could be to add this:

Hair/makeup is my forte. <b>Latex is my game.<\b>

It sounds darker, like what you mention you're trying to get into. smile

I am under the impression that no one reads profiles anymore, hence the lack of text on mine.

But I'll give it a go.
