Nope... different car... that one is orange...
Yeah, it's the same car. Yellow spoke wheels and orange body. Durant. The orange in my picture appears darker because it was in the shade and I illuminated Kimmie's face with fill-in flash.

Welp, I gave it my best shot. Here's my completed set of 77 photos:

This high contrast situation was a challenge. Easy for the model's faces to get 'burned' in the direct January sun if you're not careful. But as always, I learn something each time I do these shoots and gradually improve my technique. 'Learn by doing' is my motto.

so I tried filling it in with solid pastel...what else could I do?
Hey Chark... for best lighting... the bottom shot WORKED! My recommendation?... bring the image density down about 10-15 percent... crop it and sharpen it slightly. I can edit it and show you what I'm talkin about if you like...

Thanks much, Gary. I have not fiddled with 'image density' before in my editor. Not even sure I have that function in my editor. I do have 'Opacity'. Is that the equivalent?
I'm gonna have to pour myself a frozen Pina Colada and stare at these two pictures for a while...
By the way, the owner of this aircraft wants to get in touch with participating photogs. They want to see the pics you got. I sent them a few of mine, but they asked me about you other guys. These exhibitors are from the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ. If you want to contact them send me a PM and I will give you the e-mail.

I don't know what opacity is... don't use it. You'll have to tell me what it does. And what's up with all the 'content protected by owner' images?...

Oops. Very sorry about the missing images. I had to remove them. There is a glitch in my hosting program. They are doing an upgrade. I'll try again later.
