For Sale. (Used 3 times.)
Profoto Actue2R 1200 Light Kit with softcase, 2 60" umbrellas, all cords.
This is a PRO lightset that I just don't use and am therefore selling.
It is currently on ebay (Link put back: http://www.ebay.com/itm/121042579986?ss … 1558.l2649)

Includes:
-2 (TWO) Acute2/D4 Heads in exceptional condition.
-2 (Two) Pyrex covers for the lamps have slits in them.
2  (Two) Black Plastic bulb covers. (solid black, Profoto brand)
-Zero Burns on the Tubes
-Purchased in 2008, unfortunately no receipt and I just chucked the last 3 boxes (most likely with the receipt) about 6 months ago.

-The 'R' stands for Pocket Wizard radio control possible.
comes with a sync cord if you don't (YET) have pocket wizards.
-I would prefer to NOT separate the heads from the pack, maybe after a few round on ebay I will, but at this point, I'd rather sell all together.
-$3619.00 right now at B&H and that's the NON Pocket Wizard version.

Will sell for $2200 and free shipping to Continental 48 States. (I'll stop the ebay auction if I sell the set here).
Or, you can bid/buy on ebay.

I've used this on 3 shoots, perfect condition! Awesome light set up!
Thanks for looking.
PM will get a quicker response, but feel free to post here as well.

Are the heads Acute2/d4 heads (marked on rear) or are they simply Acute2 heads (yes, I know that Acute2 heads work on D4 also). Do the pyrex covers have slits or holes?
How many heads and what is the condition? Any burns on tubes?
When did you purchase these?
Would you separate the heads from the pack?

You can post links, it was in the wrong forum.

Whoops, wrong forum, my bad.
Since I can post links: http://www.ebay.com/itm/121042579986?ss … 1558.l2649

2 (TWO) Acute2/D4 Heads in exceptional condition.
pyrex covers (to protect lamps) have neither slits nor holes.
Zero Burns on the Tubes

Used 3 times (you didn't ask, but thought I'd elaborate)

Thanks for your detailed response.
Did you know that your pictures show different items?
Two of the pictures show the pyrex covers with holes.
While the one with the heads in the case show the pyrex covers with slits.

Are you negotiable?

Here's the positives and negatives:

Positives
- You have the newer Acute2/d4 heads
- The Pack is the R version
- There's little use

Negatives
- Price is high for a Acute2 pack with only 2 heads (more like a (ebay used) price for 3 heads with that pack)
- The heads have the old style reflector which no one wants anymore (I'd have to buy the new reflectors for about $225 ea.)
- I would have to turn around and try to sell the pack on eBay - I already have the D4 pack as well as one Acute 2. Although I might sell my pack as it's not an R.
- Paying for umbrellas I don't want and can't resell.

Yes.
Point(s) taken.
I may be more willing to negotiate after a few rounds of ebay.
Umbrellas were thrown in, I really didn't include them in my pricing, so would be glad to take them out.
Can't help with the older style reflectors, it is what it is.

Lets see how ebay goes and if not as well as I'd hoped, I'll be willing to negotiate.
We can keep in touch via this forum or PMs.

Ok - sounds fine.
But realize, that if anyone bids over your $1,500 (even just one bidder), you have to sell at that price.
I would be offering more than that, however, if it doesn't sell at even $1,500, my offer would most likely drop below the $1,500.
I would guess at least someone will bid above $1,500 though so...

Anyway, thank you for your time with this gear.

Understood, makes perfect sense, I want to get as much as I can, and you (and anyone else) would want to pay as little as possible.
Anything else would be ridiculous!

I got a bid for $1500 at ebay (overnight).
I doubt it was/is, but are you: 'bchguyx69'? on ebay?

There are 11 people watching the auction.

Happily, whomever it is has a 100% rating, so my guess is, I'm good to go for at least $1500.
