I am not a big fan of any of the forums.
Apart from a thread I posted in recently, the only other time I posted on this subject was approx. 11 months ago.
I am a proclaimer of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.
I correct error when it is put forth by unregenerate men and I do so only on the timing and instruction of the Lord Himself.
I do not argue with the lost.
You have professed yourself to be wise and made yourself a fool in according with the scriptures.
In your folly you boast that you are able to undo the regeneration wrought by God Himself.
In your arrogance, you would and will view my absence in the forum as a success of yours.
You are front and centre in your own foolish parade and eagerly pound out a record that will read back to you in due time.
Here's something that inspires me to dig deeper and become part of the world at large: http://youtu.be/9D05ej8u-gU
I have to disagree with you and contend that I have put no one down, at least to the extent that anyone perceived as having been put down by me has put me down. Self-righteous proselytizing does not bode well with those who are free of such ideologies. Something that is extremely irritating and that causes backlash in kind is projecting things that are untrue upon another person and stating them as fact, such as "that shows more about you and your insecurities than you realize". In fact, if you knew anything about me, you would find that I am not a negative person, am extremely easy to get along with, have great empathy for others and have refreshingly few insecurities. (everyone has something) Your misunderstanding of my posts and their intentions have led you to a conclusion that I am insecure or that I am a bully or hateful person. What I am is opinionated and intent on fact over fantasy... especially when it comes to fantasy that has done more harm than good in this world and seeks to actively contain scientific progress, as well as suffocate individual liberties with it's socially conservative agenda. These things indeed make me heated about the subject, because I'm not just some atheist trying to take away people's religion or squash their rights. I'm actively trying to keep religion from stamping out reason by weasling its way into classrooms, replacing scientific fact with "intelligent design" among other hogwash that has no place in a learning institution. It's criminal. There are important things at stake for the human race and religion is the enemy of humanity. I cringe to think of raising my 3 sons in a world where this kind of nonsense is held above human reason. The dark ages should not be allowed to return.
Why do you call me "friend"?
You have made it clear that you see me as disgusting, unhuman and something to be pitied.
You would have me go back to the previous decades of my life, if that were possible, as if those years were more desirable that the decades that have followed since my regeneration in Jesus Christ.
Yet you without this regeneration yourself, have nothing to draw upon to compare the two.
But you will not let that stop you.
I have two ways of living to compare alongside each other - you do not, yet appoint yourself some helper that is needed in this area.
You're right. You are no friend. You are what you would likely call a "demon". A conspirator with evil.

Well I guess my reverse psychology trick is not going to work.
I wish you good luck and awakening to reality. It's much more interesting and complex than a book of myths written by bronze age goat herders. Go and isolate yourself from free thought and reason. If that is what you believe your god wants you to do.

Thank you for acknowleding that you addressed me in dishonesty.
Human are humans, they are not demons.
Unfortunately, you now have the mess on your hands of proclaiming that not all humans are human.
You err also in thinking that I do not hold to sound biblical doctrine and call men by what they are not.
A conspirator with evil, be it a man or a woman, does not then become a demon, and I would not say that they are.
You would do well to ask me rather than to tell me.

Oh boy... you would take that literally, wouldn't you? Notice the quotes and my explanation that you are "what you would likely call" a demon. Not what I would call a demon, because I don't believe in that nonsense, but YOU do. I was simply trying to relate and speak in your language for you. I should have known it wouldn't work. I'm not fluent in crazy.

Luck is the thing of myths.
So is the belief that all men from antiquity were uneducated.

Let your yes be yes and your no be no.
Speak with clarity and mean what you say.
You have chosen to omit the resurrection of Jesus Christ from your opening statement. From the get-go your intention is clear.
The "logic" in your actions is the intent to deceive.
That deception insists you also deny His identity and authority.
Im not making a claim that jesus wasnt resurrected, Im saying that if you are alive you cant really make the claim that you died for something, because you arent dead

I know you did not bother and that is it in a nutshell.
You can't be bothered be look into something like that but as a man not clothed in Christ, you will rush in to instruct and attempt to correct the elect of Christ Jesus.

The world really does revolve around you, doesn't it? Why would I be bothered to "look into" what your gender is? Should it matter? The only one instructing here is you, making you a gigantic hypocrite (otherwise known as a typical religious zealot). Have fun with that. Keep it out of our schools though.
You called me friend then retracted it.
Your yes was a no.
It was a courtesy you didn't deserve. I retracted my kindness since you called attention to the fact that you deserve none. Congratulations. My yes was a yes, turned to a no by your attitude. Again, the fault is your own.

The world does not revolve around me, it revolves around Jesus Christ.
If you think making errornous statements do not matter even after finding out the error, then you will have to deal with that.
A hypocrite is someone who says one thing and does another.
How is the regenerated person in Jesus Christ a hyprocite for obeying Jesus Christ and preching the gospel and correcting error?
I do not teach in the assembly.

You were dishonest and called me friend.
Now you are calling dishonesty courtesy.
Your stance can be turned by another, you say.
Your words and actions are built on shifting sand, you are tossed about like the waves on the ocean.

Yeah, this is where we're just not going to see eye to eye... you can claim that something is true until you're blue in the face, but until you have sufficient data to make it reasonably believable and subject to logic, then you'll just have to be blue in the face.

What erroneous statements? There is no statement I've made about the subject that has been found definitively "erroneous".

It is by definition hypocritical to condemn someone for "instructing" while instructing yourself.

You are attempting to instruct with regards to Jesus Christ while you are without Him and profess no need for Him.
That is hypocritical at best - theft at worst.
To attempt to take from Christ the mantle of Teacher is theft.
Jesus Christ has appointed those who He has regenerated to teach.
You are not one of these.

So it is hypocritical to have different views. How Stalin of you. You are a poster child of how religion robs people of humanity. You are my inspiration in my quest against religions.

1 Thessalonians 5:15 - "See that no one renders injury for injury to anyone else, but always pursue what is good toward one another and to all others."
Matthew 5:43, 44 - "YOU heard that it was said, ‘You must love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 However, I say to YOU: Continue to love YOUR enemies and to pray for those persecuting YOU;"
I see your point. The above scriptures really 'stamp out reasoning.' LOL
Seriously though; Perhaps you could share how the scriptures' principles are detrimental and a return to the dark ages. Thanks.
Truly, I see more aggressive behavior, more disrespect, more closed-minded assertions about 'religion' from the usual 'religion haters' in SB than those who are trying to live up to a belief based standard [about atheists, science, etc...]. And yet, the religion haters insist they are 'enlightened;' how is that???
Jesus died but the part that changes things is three days later he resurrected from the dead. He is not dead and alive at the same time he is alive. The resurrection is just as important to the Christian faith as his death is. Because the resurrection was Jesus proving that he was who he said he was all along. Without the resurrection Jesus just talked a big talk.
I asked a simple question. so far I have got no answer that I can understand, but I have been informed that, among other things, I have the need to ridicule, the intent to deceive, Im a slave to sin, I posess no logic or wisdom and other kind thoughts

so he only died for our sins for 3 days, and after that we had to be responsible for our own sins again?

Im really feeling the jesus love
You were answered.
You have now revealed the heart of the issue with you - you admit here that you do not understand, and that could have been the starting point for you to learn.
However, instead you then proceeded in error, "reasoning" that because you do not understand, then the answer you received is incorrect and/or invalid.
Go back to your statement that you understand not and begin again.
The love of Christ while it abounds is not found by you because you refuse to listen to Him.
You have not the ears to hear nor the eyes to see.
Christ has offered mercy and forgiveness to you. You do not want it.
When it is spoken to you by His people, you reject it.
You are in no position to lament the lack of love - for love abounds around you but you are in spiritual blindness.
Jhn 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
Jhn 2:20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
Jhn 2:21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
so he only died for our sins for 3 days, and after that we had to be responsible for our own sins again?
Jesus's death covered all sin past, present, and future he was the perfect blood sacrifice. Jesus's death bridged the gap between us and God so that we would be able to be with God for eternity. Our sin is a debt that has been paid by Christ's blood. When Christ's changes your heart you no longer want to sin you want to do whatever you can to get it out and keep it out of your life. Now does that mean we become perfect no but we feel different convention from God once saved than we did before.

No, that is incorrect.
Forgiveness is given by God to those who will believe upon Jesus Christ and repent of sin.
He died once at Calvary, rose from the dead on the third day and the grave can no longer hold Him.
For the man who will not believe and repent, He remains in his sin even though the provision was given.
No one will force your hand to receive what He has freely given.
Repentant men and women receive the gift of eternal life from God, but make no mistake about it - it is God Who accepts and receives men and women unto Himself.
This "accept Jesus into your heart" teaching is not found in the bible.

This is an excellent post, Lisa.
You pointed out that the heart changes toward God when a man or woman is crucified with Christ and raised to new life.
