No it is not, if you have it on one OS you can get them to transfer the license to the other, but as far as I know, you cannot have it on both at once. I'm not sure if there is any discounted licensing for both OS at once that is cheeper than having two separate licenses.

If you get the Creative Cloud subscription you can install/use your Photoshop CS6 on both your Mac and PC (two computers maximum, but they can be Mac and PC, or the same os).

If you get the boxed version (now called perpetual license) you have to pay twice - the Mac license won't work on the PC, and vice versa.

That is just weak. When i bought lightroom, i was able to use it on 3 computers...one mac, and the other pc......they have to have a way. just does not seem fair.

Adobe decided to sell Lightroom (and Photoshop Elements) as multiplatform. So Lightroom can be installed on both Mac and PC without buying a second copy. But Photoshop has always been platform specific.

If you use more than one Adobe product, you should really look at getting the Creative Cloud subscription.

If you currently have any of their products (and it looks like you do) you can subscribe for $30 a month and get ALL their products. Not just Photoshop, but also Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc. Plus all their movie editing programs like Premier and After Effects.

This is correct. However, in the license terms, you agree to use the software on only 1 machine at a time. It can be installed on both, just not in use at the same time.
