Hi,

Organising a shoot in Guildford at the end of January and trying to think of some places to shoot.

If anyone knows anywhere that is good i'd love to hear from you smile
It can be in Guildford or a town close (Godalming/Farnborough etc) Although preferably easy to get to by public transport

Thanks smile

Didn't you hear the news? Photographers don't share locations!

(To answer the OP: look around Farnham - there are a ton of locations there).

Depends on what type of location you are after. If you want a lot of sand as though you are on a beach there is plenty on the Army training grounds West of the main Farnham - Aldershot - Farnborough road ( The area was used for some early scenes in Band of Brothers and for a lot of 'Ultimate Force' ). For canal side you have the countryside variety to the South of Guildford and some urban canal scenes in central Guildford. There is of course the Castle at Guildford and the ruins of Waverley Abbey. Plenty of 'Hill top' possibilities using the North Downs from Chantries wood onwards. Ironstone rock outcrop at Devils Jumps. Sand edged ponds at Frensham Ponds. Interesting futuristic building on the University campus ( the UniS Sciences building at the entrance nearest the main train station, the exterior was the original base in the TV series Primevil ). Steam train era settings on The Watercress line. Flight of steps up to the Cathedral. Pillars and covered area on the right hand side as you head up the High Street ( rather busy ! ). Probably plenty more but it has been a few years since I lived in Aldershot.

There is still the remains of the big fire around the frensham pond area.
