Romo IS incredibly talented - he really is (look at his stats, he ranks way up there among all quarterbacks in the history of the NFL)...but he is NOT a winner - he lacks that special something that winners have.  Dallas will never be a "winner" again until they dump that LOSER ROMO!!!!

WAKE UP JERRY JONES - WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll settle for Romo retiring - if he had any decency, that is what he'd do...he'd simply hang it up and leave quietly...

The Cowboys have bigger problems than simply the QB. The owner and the coach, for starters.

Long time Dallas fan but I am so sick of Romo.  I wish they would hire a GM and get rid of Romo.  Until then, nothing will change.

As a Dallas fan I'm very much tired of the constant choking in big games.  I think the team needs a lot of changes.

Well, I hate Jerry Jones, but no one can deny that he is easily the most powerful, influential owner of ANY franchise in ANY professional sport (and he owns the most valuable team in professional sports - in the US anyway)...so on balance, he's not such a bad owner - he can do things that other owners could never do.

I really think our coach could develop into a pretty decent one - he's really not so bad now.

They just need to get rid of that FRICKIN' LOSER ROMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Romo is one of the biggest problems though.

Sure, there are other problems, but he is one of the biggest ones.

Game on the line and you throw 3 interceptions?  I thought only Philip Rivers did that!

Actually - it isn't.  Dallas has a roster full of talent - at wide receiver, tight end, running back, defensive line and linebacker corp...but they've had an incredible number of injuries since the very beginning of the season, especially on defense.   In fact, most of the starting defensive team for Dallas were not even PLAYING FOOTBALL a couple of months ago.

They just need to get everyone healthy and GET RID OF THAT LOSER ROMO!!!!

I disagree. I happen to think that Jerry Jone's decision making and micro-management is the reason why the Cowboys have underperformed every year for the better part of a decade.

That said, Romo is not the answer, I agree. wink

hell no. if they got rid of him, i'd have no reason whatsoever to watch them play. he's always one (or three) bad passes from making me laugh as hard as humanly possible. lol

tonight was no exception.

i can't wait to hear next week's dan patrick show when they do the "know your romo" segment. smile

romo's record in big games (especially elimination games) speaks for itself. not to mention that he has gagged many times in the penultimate games too.

somewhere danny white is like, wtf?

Romo chokes and uses incredibly bad judgement - that is what causes the majority of his interceptions and they keep costing the Cowboys.  He is the number one reason why the Cowboys keep missing the playoffs...he keeps giving the damn ball away!!!!

ROMO - RETIRE...GO AWAY...YOU ARE NOT WANTED HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NBC 5 in DFW just reminded us the Cowboys vs Giants game for the 2011 season finally for the Division that the Cowboys lost was January 1, 2012 so twice in the same year we watched them choke.

I don't disagree with you about Jerry Jones decision making and micro managing hurting the team...but he makes up for it with his incredible influence in the NFL - he's like the Mafia boss of it.

What does he make up for? By many accounts, this team was supposed to have been one of the most talented and powerful teams assembled in the past 6-7 years.

Danny White was the first in a long string of mediocre QB's.  Last "real" QB Dallas had was Staubach.

No - I'm one of those die-hard Cowboy fans who doesn't want them to fade away into nothing...I'm someone who wants to see them keep their special place as "America's Team".  I know - so many people will say that "the Cowboy's are not MY team, so how can they be 'America's Team'"...but they simply and incontrovertibly ARE.

There are only what - 32 teams in the NFL?  The poplulation of those 32 metro areas is quite a bit less than the entire 350 million people that make up the US, and of the people who don't live near an NFL city - more of them are Cowboy fans than are fans for any other team.  Year in and year out - Cowboys merchandise outsells ALL other sports franchises in the US, and year in and year out - televised Cowboy games have the highest ratings compared to all other games.

There is no team that 100% of the US loves, but there is only one team that MORE people than any other love and support...and that team is the Cowboys, and by just about any measure you want to use.

There is only one other sports franchise that comes anywhere close to the following that the Cowboys have, and that is the New York Yankees.  Now try this - go to Google or any other search engine and try searching "Dallas Cowboys" and "New York Yankees" or just about any other team (be sure you put them in quotations like I have above to limit the results to the teams) and you'll be pretty amazed at what you'll find - ie: that "Dallas Cowboys" returns more results than any other team by a REALLY large margin.

Really? So Troy Aikman (3 Super Bowl wins, 6 Pro Bowls, NFL Hall of Fame) was not a "real" QB?
