Hello, all!

I am a beginner freelance model. I'm never satisfied or complacent with my portfolio. I'm always pushing myself to be a much better model. I never want to model the same look, idea, concept, etc... I just want to branch out.

I am a South Carolina native and there is not a lot of exposure, especially for the modeling world in SC. I do have a full time job so modeling is just a hobby for me but it is something that I am in LOVE with and I treat it just like my full time job.

I have worked with some amazing photographers in South Carolina. There are probably even more that I haven't discovered yet.

I don't plan on being in South Carolina all of my life but until I am financially able to relocate, I need to make the best of it.

There is so much that can be expressed through modeling when my words are playing hide and seek. Modeling can transcribe what a dictionary can't.

Anyway, I would like a constructive critique on my portfolio so that I can reconstruct accordingly if I see fit, preferably from photographers and models who have atleast 3 years of experience in your repetoire. "Seasoned" photographers and models who have an eye for true artistry.

What are my strengths?
Which style of modeling seems to be the strongest for me: Commercial, editorial, high fashion?
What are my weaknesses?
What do I need to add to my portfolio? Take away?
What do you think of my portfolio overall?

Thank you in advance for your time and opinion.

Strengths: Good connection with the lens.  Nice figure and legs. Exotic eyes.

Style: Fashion

Weaknesses: Need to be more expresive.  Most of your portfolio shots have almost the same expression.

Add: More like these.

Remove shots like these:  (They either aren't flattering or don't show you well.)

Overall:  Lots of potential.  Keep working at it and you will do well.

Likin' the variety, the styles, the attitude, and energy  .  .  .  I think the only thing that really struck me as something to play with, may be hair styles, try some wigs (don't need to be expensive ones, costume ones would work) to give you even more variety  .  .  .  and, of course, come to Florida to shoot immediately  .  .  .  especially with everyone named "SOS"  .  .  .  wink

Thank you sooo much! I agree with you! I've been wanting to incorporate wigs and different hairstyles! It's a must! smile

I am a fellow SC girl too! smile You have a great look especially for fashion. Id suggest sending in applications to agencies online so you can get out and start working. What are your measurements?
