check out my portfolio and tell me what you think! the first 6 pictures are from  a recent old hollywood mag shoot. What are my chances of being signed by a major agency? 5'10 measurements 32 24 35

I love your new shots. My faves are the Black and white ones but most of them are winners. Your problem is going to be the 35. Many agencies will ask you to lose a couple of inches if you can. Are you sure you measured properly?

It never hurts to go and ask them in person.

As to the images themselves, I'd lean to first BW. Phone one is kinda nice, but your left hand fingers thing distracts me. Blue hat could use a touch more editing, and the last one....unless I'm doing sunset shots, I've never been fond of orange skin.

Safe to assume when speaking of a major agency you mean outside of SC?

If you meant will those get you into a major agency, no.
You are the one who needs to walk in their door personally, taking pictures with you won't matter, unless you're talking 2-3 Polaroids. Or maybe a very good clean headshot of the variety they'd prefer, which wouldn't be BW either.

Get your height straight. Are you 5-9" or 5-10"?

If you haven't stumbled across this site yet, I'd suggest you read thru it a couple of times. You will find a lot of answers, if you read close enough.

I tend to be very face centric, and I will say I personally wouldn't hesitate a second to shoot you. smile

Mostly quite good.  This is, I think, the weakest one as your connection to the camera is lacking.  Were your eyes unfocused?  I've found that looking at something makes the eyes look better than looking off into space.

This shot is fantastic.  I love the pose and expresion.  I'm drawn into the scene and want to know more about what's going on and why this beautiful woman seems concerned and perhaps about to furrow her baby smooth brow.

I really would not put much stock in anyones opinion on your chances with an agency here.  You need to go to them and ask.  Remember even if you have a great agency look doesn't mean that you will get signed, they could have 5 girls with the same look.  Meanwhile an agency down the street has none and would love to have you.

So its not always about your look, its about what they have and who their clients are.  Only they know, plus it works both ways; an agency you sign with today may develop a different client base and suddenly you are not getting booked and you are changing agencies next year.

Just go and try
