No, that's inaccurate. Piers didn't specifically choose Alex *because* Alex is a complete lunatic that does more harm than good to any argument.
This wasn't some brilliant strategy on Morgan's part or CNN's part, to give an audience to the extremist position.

There are 100 good journalists and radio hosts who have a calmer voice than AJ, but who say basically the same things. AJ is just the richest with a $6-million annual budget and 50 employees. AJ says he has ADD, which explains why he interrupts guests, but usually does very good interviews. He probably has PTSD from being arrested so many times, so Piers, CNN and Homeland Security kept pushing that button hoping to bait him, which they succeeded at doing somewhat (unlucky for CNN AJ stayed on topic).

Fear is a new reality for the clowns because up until now they have got a good laugh. People are not laughing so much now as we know. For one thing gun sales are jumping from one million a month to ten million a month. Its as if the public was preparing for war.
I don't think the clowns thought of that.
What do they do when they can't get a laugh any longer?
