His website looks legit. More replies:
I am doing a casting for an article about woman's personality on GQ in South America . Will be 4 pictures coming out on may. We are looking for 5 different girls and one of them has to have asian features and be sexy of course. Compensation for the job 2k. For now is just the casting to see the options we have and decide whom is better for this assignment. If you are interested let me know we could meet up later on this afternoon if you are free after my shoot today. I will be in Soho around 6pm. Other wise tomorrow.
Hi Kyla I will take face and body shoots. You can bring two or three outfits that you consider describe your personality. What ever you feel comfortable wearing. Don't bring a lot. I will do quick digital polaroids.
If you have any other question please call me or txt me better since I have go back to shoot now. Also let em know if you are free to meet today
This is not legit.
1.) The wording is all off; poor grammer etc. This is my biggest clue, personally.
2.) He's offering a job that pays $2,000 to a model with very little experience.
3.) He states that texting him would be better; any professional that needs to discuss a major job would more than likely request a phone conversation (IMHO).
4.) There's hardly any notice at all (he wants to meet the same day the message was sent, or the next day), which would encourage the model to reply/agree to meeting/shooting with him so that she doesn't miss out on the "opportunity" that can be gone so quickly.
It all just seems too fishy and odd to be a legitimate job/casting.
