Hey there,

I just started into modeling, i have only done one shoot (so far)

I am just looking for some feed back on my current pictures.

Anything I can change? Pros and Cons. Anything to help me excel in modeling!

Thanks in advance!

Alright, the outfit and make up looks very thrown together, like a middle school kid was trying to be edgy and make a fashion outfit.

You have a lovely face, but you do the same smirk in every single shot. Fine to have one smirk, but when you're trying to look cute and edgy with that exact expression all the time, it gets old real fast.

Get some simple shots without the goofy shit. Get someone to take a normal picture in natural light, up against a plain wall, of a head shot, and a few figure shots.

I like this pic, it caught my eye. The curtains (or netting?) that you're holding onto create nice dominant straight lines, and your body helps relax the tension with a bit of curvature, but the others don't do you much justice. The outfit doesnt show off your best features, and also the pictures are quite "instagramish"... which might be a good thing, but personally Im not a huge fan of the whole instagram styled photography (with a few exceptions).

Also this may or may not be your fault but your pictures are quite low resolution, very small on my screen, the last couple is hard to judge properly.

Keep it up!

One shoot, one costume.

OK, you're just starting out. Rather than critique these photos, I'm going to suggest you do more shoots with good photographers to build your portfolio. Then pick one or two of these images to add to the mix if you like.

None of the pictures here shows you off to particular advantage. Your stats suggest there's a lot to like, but these images hide all that pretty well.

Do more shoots. Do TF* if you can get it, or pay a good photographer. You need more variety in your portfolio, then you'll be off and running.

Thanks for all your input!

I have only done one photo shoot, and just starting out.  I was quite nervous for my first one so I didn't really change my expression.  I am defiantly working on more that just one look, and getting more shoots!!

Well the good thing about this shoot is it got you started.  The bad news it has very little in it to market yourself with.  Very bad concept - looks like what a HS teen would do just for a non serious fun time.

First thing to look for next time is some one that can make you look as pretty as possible.  Keep it simple- no outlandish scenarios. Then try different stuff later- pursue as a hobby model.

good luck

Welcome back!

Although your photos are small, which is a good idea to experiment and see how to enlarge them to show detail, you do have a lot of potential.

The shoot itself seems very...thrown together like said before. I think you would have a good look for pinup, or a cute, NATURAL, headshot.

Work with photographers in your area more, branch out and try to work with MUA's and others that are just starting out like you. Studying models expressions from magazines and trying poses that work well for your body will also help you. Best of luck!

Thank you!

The reason the pictures are so small, because when i was trying to upload them, they were to big so I had to make them smaller, i guess i went to small!

Thanks for your compliment and your advice!

Thank you everyone for your advice! I really appreciate it!

I have a shoot this weekend so look for  more photos soon!
