Also in the very first picture in the "befores" her leg is completely blown out then in the retouched images its been replaced?
Same thing with her hair.
And same again on the shorts.
I actually think it's the other way around... I haven't seen any articles using the "after" pictures. To me they did something funky to those images...

Ok now im home and playing around with the images in photoshop.
I seem to be able to get very close just desaturating then moving the white point in levels. Also i had to mask in different white points in different areas.
To be honest i dont know which is the before or after.

Your looking at this back to front. The retouched images have been "retouched " again!
The soft light ones are retouched from raw and the others ones are just further manipulations, blowing out the highlights etc.
Take the decent version duplicate it in overlay mode and lighten with a curve. Then you will see that lookbook version with horrible highlights and higher saturation.
