Just new to MM and have been reading through threads to try and find the best and most appropriate way to network through the site.

Some advice from experienced togs and models would be greatly appreciated.

I am surprised (or I have been too lazy to read through all the posts) that there isn't a sticky about this topic.

Thanks for the EDU links there is some good content there.

Comment a photo or tag someone before sending them a message. It's polite and it shows you've  taken time to review their work. That goes a long way with me.

I think being somewhat active in the forums can help. I've actually had people tell me they wanted to shoot with me because of my forum posts, that they thought I was a reasonable/caring person because of what they read.

Most of the local models that I find through the site I come across using the Browse feature. I have a saved search that looks for certain things. And I have an alert that messages me when there are new travel/availability notices in my area that fit what I'm looking for.
