Hello, I did a search and only found 2 post with limited information, so I figured I would ask. In your opinion what shades from the MUFE Face and Body formula are essential? I have used the HD before, but I want to integrate F&B into my kit. I am looking to purchase maybe 6 or 8 shades, depending on what gives me the better range. Thanks smile

I used 38, 20, 32, 18, 48 when I had it in my kit and would just mix it when appropriate. You don't need 6-8 colors and in my opinion, don't need all 5 of the ones I listed either. Mix mix mix, saves you money in the long run.

I ended up giving them away to a stylist, more useful for her than it was for me.

Thank you! I def intend to mix to obtain the desired shade, I thought 6 to 8 would be a good amount, I will look into investing in 5 to start off with smile

38-20, light beige-ish shades
02 is also very light, but more on the pink undertones side.
32-34, light golden ones, but you can live without 32 if you have 34
48 is the darkest, so I wouldnt skip that one.
18 is a very nice shade for medium tones.

I would try to give a look at the Chromatic Mix (water based), pigmented, good texture, you can find those in red, blue, yellow, brown, black, white.

Hi everyone!
I'm also planning to ad some of F&B foundations to my kit so I wonder what 3 shades are the must haves? My budget is quite tight right now so which sades I need to buy for the start. And the same question about HD foundations. Thanks

I'm not a fan of MUFE Face and Body, so I can only comment on HD. For HD, I think the most essential shades are 115, 117, 177 and 185. That's pretty much the minimum to cover everyone and still requires that you have some color adjusters. I like the Temptu SB color adjusters with MUFE HD.

You can get a very nice natural looking extreme coverage with Face & Body and that's what I like about it. I usually mix it with Full Cover concealer in a different ratio, depending on the coverage needed.

Don't get me wrong, I love HD but Face & Body has so much to offer. When mixed with Full Cover you can apply it on either super dry or oily skin, never failed (touches wood).

3 shades only?
Depends on your client needs...
Let's say caucasian, I'd go for #2, 34 and 20.
