Do I appear to be old enough to have a 20-year-old son?
sad
There was a lady today at the library who thought my boyfriend was my son.

^This was my appearance today, minus the kitty sling.

I felt like wearing a mask for all-eternity after she said that (and continued to refer to him as my son for 15 minutes).

I didn't wish to be rude to the elderly, so I didn't correct her immediately.
The entire story is awkward, but the point is... Well...

If I do look to be 40+, how do I appear younger?
I don't have wrinkles, so I don't get it.

Did the lady appear to be on crack? Was she legally blind?

You actually look younger than 21 in that shot, and certainly no older than your actual age in your portfolio.

My mom is a nurse and from what I hear my mom saying about her patients...
Well, I honestly believed she had early stages of a disorder that elderly commonly get.

After me and my "son" helped her with the computer, and heard her life story lecture, we left (I was still feeling offended about the "son" commnt).

She ran a block behind us after we left so we stopped to talk to her again... tentatively...
She wanted to show us her elder care home.
I agreed tentatively.
She took a while to remember where she lived and lectured us again.

I feel your pain.  I'm always mistaken for my brother's father.  In thier defense, I look old.

You don't look anywhere close to old enough to have a 20 year old son.

My mom works at an elementary school- one day my dad had to stop by to drop off something.  "Mrs L!!! Your Dad is here!!!" You can imagine what a kick my mom got out of that, and how (pretend) cranky my father was! tongue

I went to the pet store to make myself feel better.
... And ate Chinese food.

Based on that picture I would have guessed that you were early 20's. No way I'd believe you're old enough to have a 20 year old son!

I was at the store with my ex and his older sister once. The cashier thought they were husband and wife and I was their daughter neutral That was fucking weird.

Especially since they look almost exactly the same, if they werent YEARS apart theyd have been twins. But yeah Im totally their daughter hmm

lmao-- Lord no, you don't...

Sometimes the elderly have an extremely skewed perception of reality.  Also-- your kitty looks just like my mom's cat.  His name is Shiner and he is...a tad mentally challenged. What's your kitty's name?

Could be worse.

You could be mistaken for your baby brother's daughter.

Oreo.
She hates the carrier/sling to be honest, but she'll get used to it.

Years ago, we were at Circuit City and the cashier told my wife that her son's (meaning me, 8 years her senior) computer parts were ready.  The cashier was probably 20 ish.

You do look pretty young in that picture... and young looking can be a good thing (I wish I looked 20-30 years younger). hmm

Sorry, but in your photo you do not look old enough to me to have gone through puberty yet, let alone have a boyfriend or son of any age.

No, no.

The petstore and the mall's foodcourt are very close to eachother.
... But I'm vegetarian, so I stay clear of the meat.

Not at all. You look about 18 or 19 at most. I think she was on drugs.
