So i've decided my portfolio needs some colors again. It's getting fairly dark/grey/brown, and i'd like more color for a bit.

I've also recently finished shooting a dance series and wanted to show one of these on here, so, good fit. The contestants are below.

Personally, my favourites out of the bunch were 1, 4 and 5

In the 2nd, her ankle looks to be of the other foot, I know it the pants but the sun draws you there,,, and the pants bump doesn't sit well. That was the only thing I see,,,  All Gorgeous work.... 3,5 and 6 would be my picks..

Very nice work!  The hues are fairly close to your current palette, but the saturation is enough to get what you're after, I think.

I like 6 and 4, with 5 running close behind (although I kind of wish the sun was centered between them and her forward leg was extended more laterally).

I actually don't like 4, the dancer looks short and think; not dancer long and lean.  I also think I would prefer some closer crops on a few, i don't need to see that much foreground in some of them.

As for color, they would probably be equally good in B&W so i don't think that I would change or worry about that.

Well done

5 is a real McCoy smile, timing is absolutely impeccable.

I'd get rid of the sun in #2, and would not be afraid in photoshoping the closed palm in #2, to have "proper" finger position.

The rest does not have the same dance intensity, IMO.

1 & 7

I would have added 5 but the female dancers right leg has been unnaturally shortened.  Or is it just me seeing that?

I know why, but in silhouette I find it distracting.  But like I said, it might be just me.  Otherwise it's a fantastic shot.
