I've done some runway work and absolutely LOVE showing my confidence and personality on stage, but have come to the conclusion that my athletic body type (and big butt) isn't what most designers and such are "looking" for. I have abs and decided that fitness llamaing should be the route I pursue, but still, a girl can dream about high fashion and runway shows, right?!
Or maybe I can't because my ass is too big. Who knows.
Opinions?!
I find a lot of promise in your photos.. Big, Butt. Not in my opinion....
I hope my opinion is not influenced by the fact that I do almost all industrial and commercial work, I find that a llama with a full hips and a good shape to her butt is more usefull in my line of work.. In TV work it seems that more and more actresses have full hips, and the directors are not afraid to show tight pants.. I would rather have to turn the llama, to diminish the hips , than not have much to form some beautiful curves.. Too bad you are so far away...

Word! :-)
OP, I love your look! (Big booty here also) I agree unfortunately fashion designers will want you to be super thin like 115....but you look awesome as you are! You will find something that sticks with you.

This is very true! The 80's and 90's were the era of the Supermodel ... when we knew them by first names. Paulina, Naomi, Christie, Gia, Elle, and so on. Although I would gladly shoot with any of them, even today, but the status of the "high fashion" Supermodel is not what it once was. The MTV generation has become the online generation. Walking the runways isn't all that it used to be anymore.
The times have changed, and it is the era of the Internet Supermodel. It's been a long while for her, but Cindy Margolis was the first one to lay claim to fame as the "most downloaded" back around 1999. She had a short lived reality TV show ... actually a couple of them. Cindy is still quite popular and busy with many things! Check out her info on Facebook; https://www.facebook.com/cindymargolis/info
There really are many options for models, depending on the physical features of course, but also in the many new main stream and web based businesses. That is why I like to say that what ever you do, "Own it!"

I would LOVE to shoot her in bikini swimwear ... with a figure like she has ... Sports Illustrated swimwear addition NEEDS her! She is perfect for it! Also that goes along with her fitness modeling and physical trainer career.

Back in the day, I dipped my toe into shooting fashion shows ... on a much smaller scale than the big ones in New York or Paris. I was under the impression that to be a llama, a woman would have to be a certain height and weight. Tall and slender ... with no hips? Well while I have nothing against shooting with women built like that, I have found extraordinary llamas who are much shorter than the 5' 9" mark, and have curves. The average height of the llamas I shoot with now is around 5' 3".
I'm loving it!

There is no profession in the world to be more important than being in total harmony with yourself. I think modeling in general and fashion in particular have (very dramatic) off-balance distorted representation of human beauty and normalcy, after all. Plus, different genotypes have rather naturally different sizes of body parts and proportions. There is no one absolutely ideal proportion, historically -- it virtually changes all the time.
"Brazilian women are the biggest worldwide users of butt implants. The reason for this is because it is bikini season all year around, so women there feel it is important to look their best in their swimwear. The booty is the most important feature for them to 'emphasize', to get that pear shaped body, which is considered extremely attractive."
In these modern times of 115lb/5'-10" "meth-addict"-looking fashion models...yes, you are outside that genre, and thank god for you!
You have exactly the curves that make lifestyle, fitness, and glamour so much more beautiful. (my opinion).
Hell yeah! You ROCK a cell-phone shot! I think that says all that needs to be said!

oh and as far as design goes... doesn't that also depend on the designer? some looks are better suited on curvier bodies, different designers have different aesthetics...

Jaw dropping "WOW!!!!!!"
She has nothing to worry about in regards to her curves!
My hubby just looked over my shoulder and said "That girl has a little butt". Your butt is normal, you have a very nice hourglass shape for lingerie or swimwear modeling.
My measurements are:
33"
27"
39"
People tell me my butt isn't that big, not compared to my thighs at least.
Oh goodness. You're butt isn't that big. It looks pretty normal to me. You're gorgeous. And there isn't any reason you shouldn't aspire to be whatever you want (:

I'm 31-25-36.
My body-type is disproportionate. I'm pretty much all ass and arms.

Oh thank you so much everyone! I just wanted to know everyone elses opinion on the small sizes of current runway models, those in editorial magazines, and the comparison of me to them. I have no problem with continuing with fitness modeling, I actually prefer it, I just wish those casting for runway shows wouldn't turn me away. I don't watch much TV or know too much in regards to the fashion world yet, I just appreciate everyone's encouraging comments and helpful criticism. Thank you again!!

Wow! Your arms rock!
Thanks. For the most part though, people only notice my butt, because it's very round (when I'm standing upright) and the rest of me is kind of tiny, comparatively.
*shrug*
After awhile, you kind of get used to having men talk to your butt as you walk past.
I'm working on high fashion for more than one year (and by high fashion I say fashion weeks and fashion magazine editorials) and the thing is: you MUST have the right body or the samples won't fit you.
You problem is less with the booty. 89cm isn't a big booty, 80% of nowadays models have more than 88cm.
What blocks you in becoming a high fashion model is your legs (muscle) and the look (tan and bleach-look hair). You can be 86-63-90 and still be a high fashion model, but you need to have "everything" else to compensate that.
I have the leg problem too. I was about to get signed to a big international agency (one that represents MariaCarla Boscono and others) because they loved my look but they asked me to loose "leg weight". I was perfect from my booty up and "bulky" from my booty down.
Your look is PERFECT (and I mean PERFECT) for fitness (Wilhelmina models are always searching for fitness models). Don't get sad our lost just because you don't fit high fashion. You get NO money, you work for free most of the time and you have 695606089 people telling you what you should do with your own body.
I wish I had the looks to be a comercial model! I would be rich by now! Ahah
My body-type is disproportionate. I'm pretty much all ass and arms.
Hey, we match! 30.5-24-37 last time I checked.
Really, though...36"/37" is big? I feel like I've got a flat ass...it could use some time at the gym, though. I love your images; you and the OP are both absolutely gorgeous.
