Any time you need help you should visit the help link where you should find answers, or be guided to the appropriate area of the site. This is also where you will find a link to Contact a Moderator.
I have not visited your profile yet, but if you have your real email address or phone number listed, you should remove those - scammers look for newbies that they think will be easy targets and having them listed makes it easy for them to contact you.
Speaking of scammers, please find this button on the page that the "my stuff" link takes you to. Click that and familiarize yourself with ways to avoid any scams.

The check is in the mail!
Welcome onboard. It happens to everyone. I was offered a well paid job for a magazine owned by a friend of mine... And no, he doesn't use hotmail at the office - even if I do use it for ease of retreiving mails on the phone.
I still get them, but they are more intelligent.
I am paying 300.00 and hour for bla bla bla. I like your look for this project.
Ok so it sound good to me and I reply.
Then comes Great the 1st step is to come to an interview for 75.00 you will be doing everything that you will be doing for the real shoot and if you make it then you get the big gig.
I have fallen for this 4 times. It has always led nowhere. and the best I can tell they just scammed me.
Now I ask for real names. I ask to see real works and allot of proof of what they are doing is real. and I google street view the address and if its an apartment forget it.
I Had one guy give me such a line I drove 5 hours. It was a fantastic home! all looked real. Turned out he was a dog walker using these fantastic homes of the dog owners while they were away on biz. Found his real name did a search and he is a convicted sexual predator that shouldn't even be on the internet. I really think MM should make that a requirement to have a membership here.
So if it looks to good to be true, then It probably is. Check out everything. I would say that 40% of my inbox fills up with BS. It really hurts the legit Biz. There are legit Photographers that feel that if you don't trust them then they will pass. But still you MUST check out everything.
Be Careful There is no law against someone lying to you to get pictures for there porn site. It is up to you to be safe!
Here is one that just happened to me today. A producer, New to model mayhem been on for 2 weeks as a model. can not give me a name or any evidence of any work and no references.
He says he has to do a 1 hour kinky nude massage to prove I am who I say I am? &*^%$^$%#$#!%$#@&^$%*&^)
It is an audition for a bigger gig.
I have references why can't he just check them. WTF
Trust me there are allot of people out there that look for a model that fell off the turnup truck yesterday!
