I've been thinking about trying to get into playboy.

I have no idea if my figure would be right though (not skinny enough) but I think it would be cool if I could get published.

I've been checking out the non-US versions of the magazines and seeing if I'm able to apply.

Now all I need is a set to submit to them.

Hmmmmmm.

I'd fucking love to be a bunny. I'm just too short (and probably not fit enough).

Theres a small number of people who claim to shoot for playboy, who ACTUALLY, REPETITIVELY shoot for playboy, who you would want to shoot a set with to submit.

Theres handfuls of "I got published by them ONE TIME and now I think Im a 'playboy photographer' and guaranteed acceptance of anything I send them" who will, not only not get you accepted, but they probably wont bother to try to find you someone who WILL after youre rejected....youll just be off their radar forever.

If its something you REALLY want, go for the former, dont waste your time and miss your chance with the latter.

Now that Special Editions is gone, foreign editions is a possibility.

Unfortunately, that's about who you know.  You could contact Jessica Vaugn to get started.

There's always Playboy Plus.  That's the online part and not really affiliated with the magazine at all except in name and logo.  But... to be honest... you don't need much more than boobs and a smile to get on that.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. Kinda like the people who say they've shot for vogue when they've had one photo featured on the italian photo vogue thingy.

I talked to Titania and she recommended someone to me, but he's in LA.

Ha. I have boobs.. and a nice smile. big_smile

I seriously have no idea what I would even ask Jessica if I messaged her. Other than, "Hey, how do you get into playboy international?"

I'd want to say something more than that, because she probably gets asked that a million times a day.

Actually the submission photos are quite basic and should not be professionally done.. No Pshop or they will get bounced.. Basically, make up like you would to go to work and a polaroid is all you need or in todays digital world, a basic point and shoot is fine.. Get a friend to shoot them..

One of them - who shot plenty of cybergirls - was banned some months ago for soliciting sex from a model.

Still, there are some more on here.
I believe Playboy has a wiki in which they list their current shooters and the girls they've shot. That makes it easy to find out how legitimate they are.

Personally I say go for it, there's no harm in trying.

Also, if you find yourself making an LA trip, just set up an appointment and go directly to them, with this guy: http://www.modelmayhem.com/177764

I did, for a TV show thing I really wanted to do, and while I got no interest for the show, I get a once-monthly casting email with everything they've got going on directly.

That's all I got though, advicewise. You'd want to talk to someone who actually shot with them to get better advice.

Excellent. I'll be sure to contact him once I figure out when I'm going out there.
Thanks!

Talk to Titania, Jessica Vaughn, and Stephy C. They can probably guide you towards people who can help, if that's really what you want.

Jose Luis, I know, has shot for them a fuck ton.

ETA: Daniella Victoria too.

I sent Titania a message, she told me that it would be a good idea to shoot a complete set and then send it into one of the international editions, which is why I'm looking more into those.

I could message Jessica, Stephy and Daniella too though.

This...
And getting someone to be a "cyber playmate" DOES NOT mean they shoot for playboy

Seems like your body-type would be appropriate for Playboy.

Ryan Leigh crashed at my house in Houston and she shot for Playboy. Maybe she'll know something.

Online submissions, casting calls, etc are virtually worthless. Theres thousands of girls applying every single week.

If you want to actually get your pictures put right in someones face and guaranteed to have them looked at, you work out a shoot with someone who can do that.

You've already done nudes, you'll never be a Playmate. I'm sorry.

Playboy Plus and all that is run by Manwin who owns tons of porn companies. Almost anyone can do it.

Try for Penthouse if you want a centerfold, but they usually only use "names".

I love that this question still gets asked.

She didnt say she wanted to be a playmate, just wanted to be IN a playboy.
