Once I went back in time to a shoot to tell myself what pictures to take.  I figured that I would only take the ones I would use later and save myself lots of time later.
Well, I didn't listen to future self because he's obviously a sell out who has lost his edge and is way past knowing what to do.  No way I'm listening to him.  He's probably just wanting to coast on my hard work, well there's no way I'm letting that lazy bastard profit off of me.  He needs to do his own work.

Turns out he was right though.  Hate it someone doesn't take my advice and throws it back at me making me work harder than I should have.  So that's the last time that ungrateful little jerk gets any help from me.

Is there a universe where there are always fresh bagels at every bagel place? No? I didn't think so! TIME TRAVEL.

To be technical about it all photographers are time travellers. It takes photons a certain amount of time to travel from whatever you are shooting to your lens (albeit usually an incredibly short period of time) so whatever we are photographing we are photographing it as it was in the past.

Hmm, never thought about it, but 'Madman with a box' is a good descriptor for a photographer.

According to the many-worlds interpretation of quantum physics, every possible universe is actual.  So unless fresh bagels everywhere somehow violates fundamental physical laws, then fresh bagels everywhere necessarily exists in a parallel universe.  (In fact, there's not just one but uncountably many universes where every bagel shop has fresh bagels RIGHT NOW.)

There are also uncountably many universes where a man with yellow skin recedes into shrubbery.

I sleep well at night knowing every cell in my body is a slowly rotting apple, replenished each passing year with more and more overripe replacements that rot faster and faster, changes continually passing through my body wave after wave, pushing my mind ever closer toward that certain unavoidable demise that will come with inevitable spoilage and expiration of a sad last bushel.

Jelly baby?

Yeah it would be cool if during our sleep all our cells actually did regenerate in the way that the word "regenerate" means, but then that would mean we'd all live too long and upset the natural balance of things perhaps.

BTW the only organs I can think of that do have some proper kind of regeneration are the liver and the skin.
