The first thing that popped to mind was that you need to connect with photographers who shoot other than "senior photo style" photos. More story telling, more drama, more... more... more memorable!

If I saw any of the photos I your port 2 months from now, I probably wouldn't remember.

You also need to shoot with photographer with a good knowledge of studio lighting. Shooting outdoors is fine, if you make the outdoors an important part of the image and not just some blurry background; Google "bokeh".

See if you can get a stylist involved; one with a flair for the dramatic and has a knack for picking fabrics with visual texture.

Some great advice.

I see a lot of the same, not really showing what you can do.  All I know about you from your portfolio is your a pretty girl.

Well for me the first turn off was "no experience" and paid assignments....Really? Why would I spend money that way?

Just want to give you a photographer's perspective.

As far as your look, great face! The photos do not show enough
about what kind of figure you have. Are you curvy? Slim? Athletic?
can't tell...

The bio is too short as far as if you have tats, modifications, work ethic,
do's, dont's, that kind of info that could put you "in" or "out" of consideration.

Finally...my disclaimer "I am not an expert." Just my two cents. This site has lots of smart mouths....including me...lol

You have a beautiful face with sharp angles.  Don't try too hard with your expressions and use your eyes to connect with the camera.  I find your profile pic (avatar) to be an unflattering photo.  It looks as if you are scowling.  Not the way to sell make-up and/or fashion.  Otherwise, the advice from those above is excellent....work with some good photographers who know lighting.  This can make or break you in photos.  Best of luck!

+1

In the OP's favor, she's got a much prettier face than most of the zero-experience/paid-assignments-only noobs I've seen.

Agreed. My critiques were about the photos and photography, as opposed to her work as a model. She has the raw materials to create something epic. She just needs someone that has the skills to really make her really shine. Diamond in the rough.

However, with as little experience that she has, I really don't see any justification as to why she will only do paid shoots (it says in her profile). She has yet to show any actual modeling skills. Flashing a pretty smile is one thing, but that is not modeling. She hasn't exhibited a knack of being a character other than herself; not modeling.

It takes more than a pretty face to be a model. A lot more. Until you are able to demonstrate that you're worth the money, I suggest seeking talented photographers who would be willing to shoot you TF, and not have you pay them. They would be doing you a favor, and not the other way around.

You're only 5' 4" have zero experience, don't shoot nudes & have listed compensation as "Paid Assignments Only"    What exactly would a photographer pay you to shoot?
