What I learned today was..this relationship with the phantom girl...lasted 4 years..and NO Skype interaction? When the girlfriend was involved in a auto-accident..Te'O didn't go visit her, or even when she was dying....and didn't visit the funeral of his love of his life.

More to come! This story will not have a happy ending!!!

People are so freaking strange. Shame on whomever did that to him, though. I had an ex who, in the process of breaking up with me (over the phone) said he had had a car accident (before breaking up with me), and was in the hospital, etc. I was so panicked that something had happened to him, it didn't occur to me that he was lying until he started giggling/laughing after I had panicked. I was still in jr high at this point.

Yeah, he was an ass. Don't even remember his name anymore though lol Just what he did.

As said, people are twisted and willing to take advantage.

This thing is so bizarre. I understand there's a lot of people who are pouring through FB posts, tweets, interview transcripts, etc. So I imagine this story will take at least a few more turns. But for now, it appears to me that most of the sports media are willing to tow the Notre Dame line, that he was duped... then adding almost as a sidenote that there are still some conflicting facts and reports. wink

First story I actually felt sorry for him, on the other hand, knowing he was giving me advice on the other with the supposed similar situation, was outrageous.

The second had a double life down to his name; even his band of years had no clue.
It was like a bad Lifetime movie.

I called INS on the second and wouldn't flinch whatever happened to him.
I do know that I'd make a great P.I., yet I wouldn't wish the experience on anyone.

Not really the type to ask for a death certificate but I insist on seeing where one lives and meeting friends and family.

That is all I am willing to disclose.

Three options: The guy is either a massive idiot or a douchebag liar; or some combination of the two.

They're finally collecting on the deal that sent Catholic QB Jim MacMahon to BYU.

Who'd have ever thought that crazy badboy MacMahon would be the smart one out of that pair?

I've seen worse. I used to have a second-floor apartment across the street from a popular nightclub. When I was home on a Friday or Saturday night I'd sometimes sit in the open window, put on some music, crack a beer and watch the biology in action down on the street.

It never failed that as the night wore on, there'd be a couple of guys outside the club who'd try to pick up women who left the club without a guy. As the night wore on, the bottomfeeding got more furious. The guys would lurk around the corner and peek at every woman who exited the club. If the women were without guys, the bottomfeeders would swoop out of the alley and try to put on their moves. They were like little jackals waiting for scraps left by the lions.

The guys hated it when I'd burst out laughing.

OK, so I finally caught up with this (my wife's been cracking wise at me about "Manti" all day and I've been all like "lolwut?")... this is frickin' messed-up.

Lonely people, man, even while surrounded by thousands and adored by millions. Lonely frickin' people. That's gotta suck. SMH. hmm

or the reach by some for adulation at any cost.  the power of sports fame seems to do that to people.  can't explain why, it just does.

Yep,I was a severe victim of this(my story about flying in a 48 year old people of walmart quality woman from Arkansas after she had her hot as hell 24 Y.O Carrie Underwood lookalike daughter pretend to be her even talking via webcam, and yes,I left this woman at the airport after obviously knew I was duped)

This truly sucks..one reason I will never try online dating ever again

Something like this. Like I don't know how not to be offensive here, but the people on that show Catfish just need to calm their hormones the eff down for a minute. Haha if you talk to someone, and you really like their personality, spend time with them. Simple(-:

A lot of people would say things about me&my boyfriend because we used to text 24/7. We still do, but back then I remember a time where I didn't see him for a full month. Now I'm at his house every day and I get the opposite complaints. I guess the point of this tiny pointless paragraph is you can never please everyone(:
