Hello everyone,

If you have a few moments, I would love to get some of your input of things that I need work on or how to advance in my photos.

Lovely smile and poise!!  I generally liked your images.

You don't seem to have focused on any specific genres - but your ability to emote on-camera is a big plus in my book..

Thank you. That's a pretty positive response. Yes, I'm all over the place. As of now I work with a photographer basically boosting both of our portfolios and doing shoots that we both envision. smile

When selecting images to post, try to pick vertically oriented shots (also known as portrait orientation shots). You have a LOT of landscape orientation shots in your portfolio.

It's called portrait orientation because it works best for people. The model 'fills' up the frame better and shows up bigger. Magazines are taller than they are wide for a reason. Landscape orientation is great for group shots and landscapes... not so great for individual people - lots of empty space around the model and the model is shown smaller.

Just my opinion.

You have a great look, and I'd love to shoot with you.

I'd use this one for your avatar:

I'd limit your portfolio to your 5 strongest images and completely get rid of the bottom two rows of images.  Put your real measurements on your profile.

What are natural shoots?  Shoots with you au natural' or natural light?  In either case, I'd re write your profile.

That's really insightful.....I'm going to remember that.  Simple and VERY true.  Thanks  smile

Love your portfolio....you have a good look, happy, fun, healthy.   And I like the feel of the photographs, nice work.   But maybe it feels like there are 2 photographers.

I'm no pro, but if I were, I'd want to see you in different lighting.  Not just ambient lighting.  Maybe some studio work too....indoors seems to be missing.

Here's some brilliant lighting....outdoors.

Good to know. Also if you have the time what would you consider my 5 strongest shots to be? Because my opinion of myself and a professionals opinion are probably going to be 2 different things.

Thank you for your opinion. I agree that I need more vertically oriented shots but I do  appreciate shots that incorporate a model as part of the landscape.

I need variety smile I have one photo from the studio in my port. I have done quite a few studio shots but I guess you can tell from my port which style of lighting I favor. Thank you for your opinion.
