Generally speaking looking at my work. What common issue can I fix right away or that pops up in your eye?
my first impression is the b&w shots look quite flat to me. the small amount
of separation is mostly from DOF. I like the ones with the plane in b.g., the
skin tones are too close to b.g. for my taste. color ones would benefit from
color correction.
Rather than rail against someone who has offered you clear concise and pretty blunt critique, it may help to address the points made. To spit your dummy and then critique someone else's portfolio is pathetic at best, the forum rules state you may not offer unsolicited critique, so what makes you so precious?
Your images are badly lit for the main part, yellow street lighting and no colour correction in the night shots are not really that flattering to the subject. The locations are not really that inspiring either. In shots such as "night photography (10 second exposure)" what is the subject matter, the background or the model? Again bad lighting introduces so much ISO noise.
Some of the night images look more like a camera phone image. I like "she smiles too" and your self portrait, but as pointed out the images are flat, due to no lighting and a basic black and white conversion, perhaps a b&w adjustment layer or two and some masking may bring more dynamic in to the images.
Lastly I may suggest a little more variety in locations, type of shots and models in your profile.
