I'm finding it  hard to break into alternative modelling in Canada. all agencies I've discovered want high fashion. any advise on how I can break into the industry with out having to move to the US or the UK?

I'm trying to break into alternative modeling as well and it seems like all a lot of agencies that really cater to it are either in Europe or Australia. I was also having a lot trouble finding alternative groups that don't deal with porn since that's just not the angle I'm going for. I ended up with Sykomindz Entertainment, though, which is pretty much a promotional-alternative modeling group that is just starting. They recently printed their first issue of Sykomindz magazine and work with models all over the world. Here's a link to their site/facebook if that might be of interest to you.
