Shot model in studio on white backdrop. Added mermaid tail. Added hair flowing in the current. Added underwater structure behind mermaid. Added water current texture to entire image and adjusted color for underwater look.
Added model to top of bear , used 3 different backgrounds , adjusted colors and tones to match and added some shadows . Drew the reigns and finally added snow to parts of the image .
This is my first attempt with multiple layers, so I'd love feedback.
Took photo of the model on white background. Scanned bird from scrapbook and added to image. Added shading. Added peacock to image then shading. Add baroque texture for meshing and texture.
Titled:Swimming with Dolphins, Kelly, posed on a green screen in the studio. I had to cut her up to adjust her hands and arms placement, then i used 15 adjustment layers to change the direction of light, the color and intensity on her. I use Alien Skin, nature textures to make a flat scale layer, cut that up and use the flat, straight on, scales where possible and drew in the prospective scales by hand. A friend of mine shot the underwater pictures of the dolphins in Florida (I believe?). The original pic only had 3 dolphins, so I cut & pasted them in various ways to make more dolphins as i felt this image needed.
Shot the model on a box with a white background then shot the standing mirror. Combining the two together and
using some filters for a chrome effect and waves in the mirror.
