Can anyone suggest brands/where to buy marcel curling irons in the UK? So far all I can find are low power ones from Babyliss/Parlux or WAM (£120 anyone!?) Annoying when Hot Tools etc. are so cheap in the US.

Hot Tools seem to be available but since they all come from the US I'm worried about getting a 110v unit plus £25 postage + VAT/customs + courier processing fees means things could get pretty expensive sad

Since these are so widely used by professionals it seems odd they are so difficult to get over here!

I have a clip less Cortex dual voltage iron. I love it and have put all of my Hot Tools away in a bin.

Cortex look good value and available over here. Perhaps I should consider clipless over a marcel iron - thanks.

I bought vodana marcel irons in 4 sizes at the Salon International show, I love them. Babyliss do a professional one that I have used and is acceptable, although the vodanas are proving a really good tool.
