I don't see it.
It comes up on the top of the screen under the mm banner. and every once in a while it comes back on lost "3 more friends". It says click here to see who un-friended me.
then it disappears and some advertisements pop up, then it comes back again!

It IS an ad. It's just bait to get you to click on the ad so that you might be more likely to read something.

The MM system used to let you collect friends and your friend count kept going up even if people that became your friends a long time ago were no longer members of the site. I believe the system was purged a while ago and a lot of inactive accounts were removed and if those people were your friends your friend count was reduced accordingly. I think this is now an ongoing process so your friend count may continually go down as people drop out of the system.
If the messages you get are actually part of an ad you might try using some ad blocking software.

...Yeah that's an ad. I've seen similar things on other websites.
I don't see why MM would feel the need to create a feature that lets you know if people have deleted you.

LOL I'm having fun with you guys! thought maybe everyone seen that ad. Its a tricky ad kinda think that tries to trick people into downloading some ad tracking crap I think. I am very surprised that MM would have such an ad on the site.

Most ads stay on the site until people complain in the Site Related forum

I've recently seen these ads at the top of my page too, they say that 3 people have "unfriended" you on Facebook. I deleted my Facebook account about a year ago ! Anyway, I never click on ANYTHING.

You do know that's a banner ad for Zoosk right? Well, I guess you don't lol. So...it's a banner ad and has nothing to do with MM.

Yes I just signed on today and now it says I have 4 new messages from people who might like me from a dating site! I never even signed up for zoosk. How do they even know me to know I have 4 people who like me.
So hey is that a good thing or a bad thing. I think it is tacky! to be on MM.
I imagine zoosk might think advertising here is a good thing. But atleast when guys come on here looking for dates and strike out they can click on zoosk.
Or the other thing people might look at this as a dating site like zoosk.
HHhhmmmm who makes the choices for the advertising on this site? They need to change jobs maybe wash dogs or something.
